Based on customer reviews, Lazy Sister offers a generally very good service and atmosphere, with attentive staff. It appears to be a popular spot, especially in the evenings, so booking ahead is recommended to avoid waiting.
The restaurant offers a variety of Chinese dishes. One customer who ordered dumplings noted they were a bit too sweet and had a higher ratio of doughy wrapper to filling than preferred. They suggested a bit less sweetness and more Zhejiang Vinegar for better balance.
Another popular dish, the Dry Pot Beef, received positive feedback for its flavors and the tender beef. The broccoli stems were also appreciated for adding a nice textural crunch. However, one customer felt the portion size was a bit small for the price.
Overall, Lazy Sister seems to offer a "fancy Chinese food" experience, making it a decent choice for occasions like a date night. The atmosphere is noted as great, and they have a decent wine list along with some interesting food options.
While specific promotional information is not available in the provided reviews, the restaurant's popularity suggests it offers a compelling dining experience for those seeking a more refined Chinese cuisine in Norwalk.

Customer Reviews
Service and atmosphere is overall very good, very attentive staff. I asked for “Very spicy” on both dishes I ordered Dumplings: A bit too overdone on sweetness, which threw off balance the rest of the dish. I generally prefer much more filling with a slightly firmer texture. This had too much doughy wrapper and not enough filling which was slightly disappointing. Overall besides construction of the dumpling itself I would have preferred a bit less sweetness and a bit more Zhejiang Vinegar to balance out the dish more. Dry Pot Beef: I liked the flavors on this one. The Broccoli stems brought a nice textural balance with the crunch. Beef itself was nicely tender and done very well. While I generally don’t believe Chinese food shouldn’t only be “cheap” as it takes a high amount of effort to make, the pricing was a tad high given how small the portion size was.
Came here for a date night, was a decent meal it's like fancy Chinese food. The atmosphere is great they have a decent wine list and they have some interesting options for food. It was pretty busy even earlier in the evening, so book ahead otherwise you might have to wait a while at the bar .
Had to try out the new place that has dim sum and Szechuan food. Pretty good! Well seasoned, textures could get dialed in a little but delicious overall. We had the soup dumplings, beef in scallion pancake, dry crispy fish (fluke), eggplant in garlic sauce, general tsos chicken, and cumin lamb. The cumin lamb was our favorite! Def give this place a try.
The best part of my experience at the Lazy Sister's grand opening was the perfect blend of cozy ambiance and vibrant energy. The decor felt warm and inviting, with modern touches that added a unique charm. The highlight, though, was the food. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors that truly stood out. The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about making sure everyone had a great experience. Lazy Sister feels like a new neighborhood favorite, and I can’t wait to go back!
Great restaurant.. love the ambiance.. friendly staff.. great food, smaller portions though compared to Chinese restaurants at this price point.. If I have been here for first time, I would totally rate 5*. Considering I was regular at enchanted schezwan, I would rate it at 3.5*.. menu wise, it’s fairly close to enchanted schezwan..
