Lavender Asian Bistro

Absolutely delicious meal. They have a seperate Gluten Free menu with lots of options and gluten-free soy sauce. Serving sizes are large and well priced. Clean, inviting atmosphere. Incredible service. We ordered the cashew chicken and the tuna, salmon, and spice yellowtail rolls along with hot tea.

This is by far the best Asian/Chinese food you will find anywhere around. I have been to so many and I drive an hour to eat here each time. They have an extensive gluten free menu that is delicious. I have been coming for over ten years and it’s been consistently amazing every time. The service is superb and consistent as well. You won’t regret eating here…..ever.

Updating - Dropped overall rating and service and atmosphere. Kept at 4 stars, as one bad experience should not impact a small business, but utterly disappointed. Took my mom to lunch today, should have been warned when it took 3-5 minutes to be seated or even being acknowledged. We placed our order around 12:20 and did not get our order until 1 pm. I had meetings and we were left in the dark about delays. When asked they said had a big order in front of us. If something is happening that is out of the norm - let your customers know (like will take 40 minutes to get their food). Utterly disappointed in this visit, the service was just lacking. Do not thing, we will be visiting to ever sit in, will start exploring other options in the area now. My wife and her co-workers had ordered food from here. They all raved about how good it was. We had family coming over for our daughters birthday. We decided to give Lavender a try. They definitely have a large variety of Chinese and Thai food to choose from along with sushi. If you're looking for an Asian restaurant this is going to be the place to go to with a large variety. We ended up ordering a tray of chicken lo mein, chicken penang, and two quarts of hot and sour soup. The food was all very good. Coming from Chicago I appreciate restaurants not skimping on the meat and the vegetables, or portions. I was very pleased with the amount of food in the trays. This place definitely delivered on both. Service and food quality. We ordered to trays as to go. The food was on time and super hot, I did not have to wait, and the service was very good. The gentleman even wished my daughter I'm very happy birthday.

This is my favorite restaurant. I recently went on a first date and, as usual, was treated with great care. This will definitely be our regularly returning place.

I just couldn't give more than 3 stars for this place .... however the Sizzling Rice soup was good! The hot tea too. My favorite the Salmon Roe was a bit off colored as was the flavor of it. The Philly roll was good. The shrimp lo mein wasn't quite up to par. Maybe they were having an off day.....
