Lava Hibachi & Sushi Bar

Staff was super friendly! Super cute and clean place. They were on top of getting drinks when we needed, they give you water automaticly and kept them filed. All you can eat hibachi and sushi, but they also have hibachi were they cook in fount of you. If you're picky and only like deep fried sushi they only have one roll that is very basic with crab meet and cream cheese.

We came here for the AYCE option. Food and quality of the sushi was absolutely outstanding. Prices were great. Happy hour is also a wonderful deal. We will definitely be back. The only critique we have is that a few of our items did not come out with our first order of food but it came out the second time we put it through. They definitely seemed to be short handed the night we came in but the service of the staff, atmosphere and food quality was beyond worth it. Glad to have another all you can eat option so close by. I’ve become a regular at Lava, a place that has completely replaced my previous go-to, Sushi House, for all-you-can-eat sushi cravings. A few months ago, my fiancé and I were in the mood for sushi and heard that Lava, under new ownership, was now offering an all-you-can-eat menu. Formerly Ninja Star, this spot piqued our interest, so we decided to check it out. From the moment we entered, we were impressed. The restaurant is impeccably clean, the staff was welcoming, and the atmosphere was inviting. The food itself was fresh and flavorful, with generous portions. What truly sets Lava apart, however, is the addition of Hibachi options on their all-you-can-eat menu—a thoughtful touch for those who aren’t solely interested in sushi. Whether you’re dining with someone who doesn’t eat fish or simply crave the grilled flavors of Hibachi, this menu offers something for everyone. Personally, I enjoy ordering a variety of sashimi, classic rolls, and specialty rolls (the rainbow rolls are a favorite), but now I can also indulge in Hibachi steak and shrimp, paired with fried rice and vegetables, an ideal balance to satisfy diverse tastes. The Hibachi shrimp is always seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The service is outstanding as well. Nora and Jason have become familiar faces, always greeting us with warmth and attentiveness. It’s clear that Lava values its customers, and I couldn’t wait to share my experience. Whether you’re looking for a traditional Hibachi experience or a laid-back meal with a group, Lava offers both. This has now become my go-to destination for any sushi or Hibachi cravings. The name of the business has changed to LAVA. This has been one of the best hibachi presentations we have been to. The staff was very friendly and the chefs were hilarious and fun. At the end he even made a balloon animal for my 4yr old! The food was fantastic, they offer rice and noddles! Steak and shrimp were very flavorful. Their drink list was great and the Sake was not expensive like most other places. They even offer a Sake flight sampler. The chef made my 4 year old happy and laughing, and even though we didn't order her a meal (she's picky) he gave her all the extra rice and noodles and vegetables for free which was super nice. This will be our go to hibachi place for the future. The atmosphere was great, very spacious and decorated.

Our hibachi chef was extremely friendly and put on a great show . We had two 3 year old toddlers with us and he was able to get them involved and smiling. Portions are similar to what you’d find at other similar restaurants. Plenty of seating, large menu, good food and pricing
