Customer reviews for Latitudes Apollo in Apollo Beach, FL, present a mixed picture. Several concerns have been raised regarding the food quality, especially when ordering close to the kitchen's closing time of 9 PM. One reviewer strongly advises to "AVOID eating here close to closing time," citing "hit or miss" food quality. They described receiving an "undercooked" burger (ordered "well-done") with a "ripped" bun, a "bad" wrap, and "cold" chicken pieces that "tasted off," leading them to feel they "basically threw away $45."

Another reviewer found the food to be "OK, just a little bit salty," with "fish and chips" being "a little bit chewy" and the "zucchini" being "extremely salty." A significant negative aspect mentioned was that "The bathroom definitely smelled of urine." On a more positive note, this reviewer found the "service was great" and noted that the bar offers "outside dining" and a "pretty good selection of beers, and spirits." However, they concluded, "Can’t say that I would be back again" and characterized the establishment as "Basically a sports bar," advising, "I wouldn’t bring children here."

Based on these reviews, potential patrons of Latitudes Apollo in Apollo Beach, FL, should be aware of potential inconsistencies in food quality, particularly when ordering late. Issues such as undercooked food, overly salty dishes, and chewy textures have been reported. The cleanliness of the bathroom is also a concern. AVOID eating here close to closing time. The food quality is hit or miss. This is what they consider a ‘well-done’ burger—not only undercooked, but the bun was ripped at the bottom, making it a mess to eat. My husband’s wrap was bad, and my daughter’s chicken pieces were cold and tasted off. If the kitchen closes at 9 PM, they shouldn’t be taking orders at 8 or 8:30 if they can’t serve quality food. I basically threw away $45.

Staff was nice, live music was nice, but the food... Burgers were pretty great, no complaints there. Don't get anything else. The food was too expensive for what you get, it was a half-portion of fries with every meal that got them. The rest was pretty bad, my ranch wrap came with no ranch and was very dry. The ranch which I had to ask for tasted weird and had a strange texture to it. Call it Uncanny Valley ranch, the way it was just off. It tasted more like sour cream, onions, and chives. I can't believe I paid $13 for that wrap. The French fries were not cooked right and were chewy. They seemed like very firm potatoes that were recently cut and quickly deep fried. Similar situation to the ranch, the honey mustard tasted like Dijon mustard that they sweetened in the kitchen. It was just off and tasted wrong with the fries. This was made worse by the fact that you had to pay for the sauces to dip your fries in. Ginger Ale tasted like 7-Up, or like a zero sugar/diet drink. We thought it might have been ginger ale meant for drink mixes, not as a standalone drink. The food felt like an afterthought to the bar. I guess people won't notice the quality after a few drinks. But we just came here tonight to eat, and were sorely disappointed.
