The birria soup had a funky plastic taste." This customer concluded they "Would not revisit."

In contrast, another customer rated the food "10/10 authentic Mexican food!" They mentioned, "This was our first time and we are already planning to come back next week with our friends. The chips and salsa were mild. The guacamole was so fresh! My wife got the steak and chicken fajitas with no mushrooms and it just melted in her mouth! The meat was very tender and juicy! The fajitas sizzled the entire time on the table and stayed very hot. I got the combination which was a chicken taco and chicken chalupa! DELICIOUS!"

Small little place. Chips and salsa are nothing special. Ordered Taco Birrias mexican style with no cilantro. And 2 taco supreme tacos ground beef. The tacos were decent. 1 was big and the other had barely any toppings. The tacos birrias cam with cilantro. I reminded the server and she took them back, after a few minutes, she returned with some other ones that were covered with onions. The corn tortillas Were not cooked like birrias are supposed to be and did not have cheese. The corn tortilla when dipped in the soup fell apart and was nasty. The birria soup had a funky plastic taste. Dumped out the birrias meat on a plate and ate maybe half. Would not revisit. Follow me for more restaurant reviews on Facebook at mealswithgreg.

We walked in to an empty restaurant, so service was extremely attentive. We were given chips + house made salsa, and brought our drinks and appetizer. Four parties arrived shortly after, and service came to a screeching halt. We then waited more than 20 minutes for our entrees, and never even had a chance to ask for refills for our drinks. I understand they were busy, so I'm not judging, but it did affect my experience, which is the point of a review, and when paying $90 for a meal for two, I'd really like to have a drink to wash it down with. The jalapeno poppers + elote were decent, the shrimp chaufa was very good (lots of shrimp!), and the beef enchiladas in red sauce were not good at all. The meat seemed like they had just fried up some ground beef - very plain, no cheese, no seasoning - and stuffed it into the shell. The cheese on top was a few barely melted strands. They had a great selection of bottled Mexican sodas, along with house made Jamaica and Horchata. And though we didn't try any, their dessert menu had some very nice options. The dining room was open and airy, with beautiful wood tables and lots of plants. We sat in front of the window, which was actually quite chilly due to the air vent being directly overhead. We ordered 6 empanadas to take home - 3 chicken+ 3 beef. Heated them up tonight in the air fryer and they were just okay. Very very bland. The dough was pretty thick corn meal, probably a bit too thick. Definitely wouldn't get them again. Most likely will not be coming back.
