Customer reviews for Larry's Giant Subs present a contrasting picture. One reviewer had a very positive experience, praising the "5 star service" they received. They found the two young ladies working to be "so friendly and knowledgeable," offering great sandwich recommendations. They also appreciated the personal touch, as the staff congratulated them on their recent marriage. The reviewer stated they would "definitely stop by" again on future trips.

However, another reviewer had a significantly negative experience. They reported a strong "smell of burnt plastic or something" upon entering, which prompted them to eat outside. They found the bread of their sandwiches (Philly and Italian) to have absorbed the unpleasant smell from inside. They also criticized the meat for not tasting fresh and expressed concerns about cleanliness, noting that their husband's sandwich had meat from their sandwich on his bread and tray. They advised caution for those with food allergies and described a "lack of cleanliness." They concluded they would not be returning, questioning the restaurant's high rating.

In summary, Larry's Giant Subs offers friendly and knowledgeable service, as reported by some customers. However, there are significant concerns about the restaurant's atmosphere, food quality, and cleanliness, as reported by others. Potential customers should be aware of these mixed reviews and weigh the positive and negative feedback before deciding to dine at Larry's Giant Subs.

This was our first time at Larry's. We're on a weekend trip. My husband had a taste for a sub and didn't want the normal chain subs. I googled subs and Larry's came up. We hopped in the car and arrived about 30 minutes before closing. We received 5 star service. The two young ladies that was working was so friendly and knowledgeable. They wished us congratulations on being married two weeks. Gave great sandwich recommendations. Whenever we return on another adventure we will definitely stop by Larry's giant subs.

As soon as you walk in the door there was a smell of burnt plastic or something so we decided to eat outside. My husband ordered the Philly I got the big Italian, the bread had absorbed the smell from inside the restaurant. The meat did not taste fresh. It was $30 for two sandwiches and small fountain drink. If you have any type of food allergy be careful. My husband’s sandwich had meat from my sandwich on his bread and tray. I can’t even describe the lack of cleanliness. Not sure how it’s gets 4 stars but we won’t be back.

The Killer 8" for $13+ (with 15% tip) was deliciousness! Not an abundance of meat or toppings but the roll it all came in was really tasty. Super fast friendly service but nobody else was infront of me! My sub was ready in under 2 minutes! Bike Week is on now...bikers will like this place...

Sadly, disappointed. We had sandwiches for takeout the night before. And breakfast the next day. The staff is super friendly and very nice. Let’s start with the sandwiches. $32 for a sub and a sandwich. So someone on the pricey side to say the least. The Philly cheesesteak sub was large and while it was Tasty, it’s not exactly a Philly cheesesteak in my opinion. It was about average the turkey Reuben on rye was really good. Came to pickle spear which was nice. The potato salad was decent. Breakfast is where we were most disappointed. Bacon and egg sandwich on a Kaiser roll With a hash brown danish and what we were told was orange juice. They definitely use fresh cracked eggs and the egg itself was good. The bacon was decent. The Kaiser roll tasted like it was either previously frozen or refrigerated so it had to be toasted. The dish tasted like something you get out of a multi pack at Costco, and individually wrapped. The hash brown, couldn’t even eat it. Tasted like something to get in the Walmart Frozen aisle. The orange juice wasn’t really orange juice, it was a juice blend and I hate that. Breakfast was also very expensive just over $20 for two egg sandwiches at Danish hash brown and two orange juices. In conclusion, their bread could be a lot better. The portions are a good size but it’s a bit pricey. Nothing special about this place, especially for the high prices in my opinion.

Oh man.. what can I say? I can't eat gluten, and finding good gluten free bread is difficult when you're out and about. Stopped here with my family, had an awesome 8" sandwich. The two team members that were working were well on top of allergies, changing gloves and cleaning up to ensure as much as possible that there would be no cross contamination. The food was fresh, tasty, and considering how the price of everything has skyrocketed recently, it was affordable. Highly recommend. Back again and this place is wonderful!
