Laojiu Rice Noodles

Stopped by here for lunch on Saturday and it was packed. The place is order at front and find your own seating. They'll bring up your food when it's ready. I had the kimchi flavored bowl. And one of my guests had a beef rib bowl. We both liked the food. The flavors are fairly authentic. Not too strong like what some people might be used to. But definitely tastes like what you'd make at home. The serving portions were on the lower side. We all left still hungry for more food within a few minutes. I'd still go back and try other dishes. It was too crowded when we were there to fully enjoy the meal. Since it's seat yourself, we felt like we should eat faster to make room for other guests. Not a good place for a date or intimate setting. Would be good for a quick bite or something very casual.

Place was very clean and I love how the inside of the restaurant looks with its decor, it’s really nice.looks like you go in and order and pay then get seated and that’s a new thing for me but otherwise the service was nice and the staff was friendly and patient with ordering the food. The food came out pretty quick and everything tasted good and had a lot of flavor and food was cheap it was like roughly $10-$20. I will be coming back for sure this might be my new favorite go to spot.

Wonderful noodles that are not offered in the area. Portions were filling you don't need an appetizer. Would recommend both the cucumber salad and spicy beef noodles. The condiment and water station is very homey. Even the bathroom was spotless. Will be coming back!

A totally new concept to the area that serves Yunnan style rice noodles, similar to spaghetti, has different names depending on different regions in China or Vietnam. This is not a full service restaurant. You place your order at the front desk before being seated. It might cause a problem during peak hours. We had beef bone-in noodles and beef brisket with tomato, Both taste great, big portion, lots of ingredients. Also ordered marinated eggs and crispy salty chicken as appetizers. Their food is restaurant quality at food court price. They also renovated the place from the ground up. It replaced the Pho Yummy before, which was a disaster. Will definitely go back for more.

We really enjoyed this restaurant! I ordered the Helen Noodles, spicy, with rice noodles. My husband got soba noodles with beef. We also had salted chicken and crab rangoons as appetizers. The food was all delicious. It was flavorful and fresh. The service was great. We are already looking forward to our next meal here.
