Dumpling is so amazing, 100% freshly handmade, so it might take a little bit longer, but 10000% worth it! Peking duck is really really authentic, and is the BEST IN CHICAGO. We reserved it couple days earlier. Call to order the duck one day before you come!

Dumplings are good. 👍 Skin is not too thick or thin with a nice balance of juice inside. 出餐流程待加强。加油👏 Here is what to expect: Order ahead on their website or call (Google prices are $3+ for appetizer and $5+ for dumplings) and add 20 mins to the pickup time they auto send you 🤣 Double check your order before you leave. They mislabeled 2/4 dumplings, got 1/4 with the wrong filling. 12/order when we picked up but saw review from a week ago with 15/order. Chicken and mushroom boiled: tastes good but no mushroom in sight 😆 Beef and onion pan fried: great light crisp and juice inside, but where is the onion ? 🤔 Leek with egg and shrimp pan fried : yum Lamb with leek steamed: uhhh they gave us pork and dill 😓 Woodsear salad: no flavor at all. Generous woodsear but needs seasoning. I mixed the chili oil and vinegar form the dumpling dipping sauce for it. 😞

We ordered fried pork & cabbage dumplings, sour soup dumplings, and steamed pork, shrimp & chive dumplings. The shop is small with one table and 4 counter seats. Service is quick and everything was incredibly delicious.

I ordered the pork, shrimp, and leek dumplings and they’re delicious. The filling had a whole shrimp in each dumpling and was juicy and very flavorful. The wrappers are handmade (which isn’t easy to find) and are impressively thin for being hand made. They definitely don’t look like the frozen ones, and taste even better. I ordered online for pickup and then noticed the order would be ready in an hour. I wasn’t able to wait that long so I called the restaurant to cancel my order. The man I spoke to was friendly and told me my order would be ready in 30-35 mins. He even called me when my order was ready (I missed the call). But when I arrived the dumplings were ready to go. The space is small so it’s really set up for take out rather than dine in. $12.99 for well made, home made dumplings is reasonable. I do find it odd the pan fried dumplings cost more. Hopefully people will be patient as this new restaurant works out the kinks. I’d love to see this locally owned small business thrive. The dumplings are yummy and I look forward to having my parents to try them.
