According to one reviewer, the restaurant offers fantastic food, great staff, and a convenient location near Disneyland, suggesting it's a "hidden little gem" offering good value for around $21. However, another recent review presents a starkly contrasting experience. This customer, who visited around 8:30 PM, described the food as not good at all, with old-tasting vegetables and hard, unpleasant chicken in the green bean chicken dish. They also found the fried rice to be flavorless and expressed regret for not reading more reviews before their visit, ultimately recommending others to skip this place due to their negative experience.

Given the conflicting recent reviews, it's difficult to provide a consistent picture of the environment, services, and features of Lantern Garden - Downtown Anaheim. While one customer highlights its positive aspects and location, another reports significant dissatisfaction with the food quality.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews.

It was around 8:30pm & my family wanted some Chinese food. We googled places with 4 stars or more within a 10min drive from our hotel & found this place that was still open. We practically just threw away money because the food was not good at all & most went to the trash can. The veggies tasted old & the chicken was disgustingly hard in texture instead of soft & tender in the green bean chicken. The fried rice didn't even have any flavor. I should have read more of the reviews because I hate wasting money. Skip this place & go elsewhere. Yuck!! I can't believe I have to give them a star because there's no option for zero stars.

Ordered the house special fried rice, orange chicken and shrimp chow fun. The rice has beef, chicken and shrimp. The chow fun has wide noodles but not much shrimp but the shrimp size was good. The food was delivered hot and on time. The portions were enough to share so we ordered less items overall but still got a side of steamed rice.

I find myself coming here for the cooked to order menu more and more… everything is delicious!! Tonight the Mongolian beef really shined! Delicious beef and caramelized onion flavor with the smoky wok taste only a good chinese restaurant can create. I also got soy garlic wings which is always a treat for me and my family, perfectly sweet yet savory. They give you free rice as well with every entree order which is super nice.

Skip it. Go to panda. Chicken is tough and hard to eat. All 4 of us who bought a plate felt the same way. The coloring of the food was also off. They do give huge portions but man it wasn’t good.
