La Marsa Waterford

Have been coming to this Plaza for years. We've been wanting to try the place instead of our usual Thai. Very happy that we did! Our waitress was outstanding to start with. The food was beyond phenomenal. They make the pita bread for dipping baked brick oven fresh to order! We had the lentil soup & Chicken schawarma, meat sandwiches. Just as we were finishing our meal our waitress came to get me to show me the family of Cranes that come by & peck the windows for a snack. Of course I quickly gave in. Went out side with 1 piece to tear up and toss some to each of the little family of 3. They were already working on a small pile that someone had just put out. Noticed on the menue they have several locations. 1 right by our American Legion Post. So I think I'll suggest that for our riders monthly dinner run next month! Love finding new restaurants with great food & great servers!

Large restaurant with high quality food. Has a large menu and you can be spoilt for choice. The food was very tasty but they did take a little time to prepare. The bread and humus was fresh and perhaps the tastiest in Michigan. Plenty of parking outside. Excellent service and food, highly recommended.

I feel bad writing this but I wanted to leave an honest review. My family grew up making authentic Mediterranean from recipes passed down through generations and we eat at Mediterranean restaurants quite often. This is quite possibly the worst food I've ever eaten. I couldn't even tolerate it. I've tried the restaurant three times because of the good reviews. I couldn't tell you how people enjoy this food. I bought kibbee, hummus, pita bread, grape leaves and chicken schwarma. The only thing I could actually eat more than one bite of was pita bread. I feel sick now. It's all going in the garbage.

Everything we've had here has been delicious. The bread is superb. It's served with a strong garlic butter that can quickly be overpowering if you take too much, but just a little with a scoop of hummus is perfect. Service is always welcoming and efficient.

This place never fails. We got the Arabic coffee, and it's so delightfully flavorful and smooth. The garlic dip and pita bread to start are addicting and the chicken and vegetarian ghallaba were both so full of flavor. Service was attentive and helpful. We will definitely be back to try more things!
