About L V Seafood Restaurant

Welcome to L V Seafood Restaurant, a Chinese restaurant located at 4139 Norse Way in Long Beach, CA. As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, L V Seafood Restaurant appears to offer a dining experience that emphasizes seafood dishes alongside other Chinese culinary favorites. Based on the available customer reviews, the restaurant presents a mixed but generally positive impression, with highlights including a clean environment, attentive service, and certain well-regarded dishes.

One of the notable aspects of L V Seafood Restaurant, as mentioned by a customer, is its cleanliness. The reviewer specifically pointed out that the restaurant "doesn’t smell like typical Chinese restaurant," which suggests a well-maintained and fresh environment. This can be a significant draw for diners who appreciate a clean and pleasant atmosphere while enjoying their meal. A clean environment contributes positively to the overall dining experience, enhancing comfort and satisfaction.

The service at L V Seafood Restaurant has been praised as "great, attentive and friendly." One reviewer who visited on a Tuesday night for dinner noted that there was no wait and the food arrived quickly, indicating efficient service during their visit. Attentive and friendly service can significantly enhance the dining experience, making customers feel welcomed and well-cared for. This positive feedback suggests that the staff at L V Seafood Restaurant strives to provide a pleasant and efficient dining experience for their patrons.

Among the favorite dishes mentioned by customers are the "house special fried rice" and the "salt and pepper pork chop." These dishes appear to be popular choices and are recommended by at least one satisfied customer. The house special fried rice likely features a combination of ingredients that make it a signature and well-loved dish. The salt and pepper pork chop is a classic Chinese dish known for its savory and slightly spicy flavor profile, often crispy and well-seasoned. The positive mention of these specific items can guide new customers looking for recommendations.

However, one customer who visited the restaurant for the second time experienced inconsistency in the food quality compared to their first visit, which they described as "awesome." On their second visit, the same dishes ordered previously, with the exception of a different rice dish, were not up to the same standard. The pork chops were described as "super salty," the orange beef as "super sweet," and the green beans were said to have "way too much thick sauce," making the dish "overwhelming." This feedback highlights a potential issue with consistency in food preparation, which can impact the overall dining experience for returning customers.

Despite the inconsistency experienced by one reviewer, the other review paints a more positive picture, describing the food as "really good and comforting." This suggests that when the dishes are prepared well, they can be quite enjoyable. The discrepancy between the two experiences indicates that while the restaurant is capable of producing high-quality food, there might be variations in preparation that lead to inconsistent outcomes.

Information regarding the overall environment or ambiance of L V Seafood Restaurant is somewhat limited. However, the mention of cleanliness suggests that the restaurant prioritizes hygiene and aims to provide a comfortable setting. The fact that one reviewer dined in on a Tuesday night indicates that the restaurant offers dine-in services. The lack of wait on a Tuesday night might suggest that the restaurant is not overly crowded during the mid-week, but this could vary depending on the time and day of the week.

Features of L V Seafood Restaurant include its focus on seafood, although the specific seafood dishes are not detailed in the provided reviews. The cleanliness of the establishment and the attentive and friendly service are also notable features. The house special fried rice and the salt and pepper pork chop stand out as popular and recommended menu items. The inconsistency in food quality, however, could be seen as an area that might need attention to ensure a consistently positive dining experience for all customers.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information mentioned in the provided reviews. Local users interested in dining at L V Seafood Restaurant might want to check local online directories or contact the restaurant directly to inquire about any current specials or promotions. Trying the recommended house special fried rice and salt and pepper pork chop could be a good starting point for new customers.

In conclusion, L V Seafood Restaurant in Long Beach offers a Chinese dining experience with a focus on seafood. Customers have praised its clean environment and attentive, friendly service. While the house special fried rice and salt and pepper pork chop are highlighted as favorite dishes, there has been a report of inconsistency in food quality on a return visit. For local users in Long Beach looking for a Chinese restaurant that emphasizes cleanliness and offers attentive service, and who are interested in trying their recommended dishes, L V Seafood Restaurant is worth considering. However, potential diners should be aware of the possibility of inconsistency in food preparation based on the available feedback.

2nd time coming here. First time was awesome- everything was great. This time around, complete opposite. The food is not consistent, we ordered the same thing as last time except different rice dish. The pork chops- super salty, orange beef super sweet, and the green beans had way too much thick sauce- making the dish overwhelming. Wished it was the same as the first time around.

One of the best Americanized Chinese food restaurants. This is not a Mandarin or Cantonese place , per se. Serves all your favorites, generously proportioned. Varied and extensive menu. Usually very busy. Decor is nothing special. Lots of take-out orders delivered on time, usually 15 minutes or less. This is excellent food.
