In from out of town, in the area for a week of IT work. Multiple recommendations from locals and it didn't disappoint. Immediate seating on a busy night at the sushi bar. Service was a little slow on my cocktail, but it was really busy so I can understand that. Staff was "moving with a purpose", something I appreciate. Sushi order was really fast given how busy they were. Adi and Wendi were rocking the sushi. Flavor was great. Highly recommend.

I come to Kyoto all the time and this time the portion sizes were very small besides the chicken and noodles. I barely got rice or vegetables. I paid the price for a dinner meal for a lunch size and I don’t think that was ok. I told the manager and they cooked more food which was fine but they cooked it afterwards in the back and I had to wait 15 minutes. When I spoke with the manager about the sizes they were just getting started, I thought that they could just get more at the time but I guess not. While waiting, I noticed that someone requested a cup of wine and they decided to not want it anymore and they put it back in the fridge for someone else. Yikes! Usually they are good, this time not so good. Maybe I’ll try back next year.

So the food was great, service friendly and good, atmosphere decent and the lunch price really good....BUT..... they cooked everything separately on the flat top. Good entertainment mind you...BUT... you received nothing as a cohesive plate. Rice first alone, then meat, then veggies. Should all be timed simultaneously and on the plate together with all those flavors. It would get a 4 to 5 easily if so.

Wasn't very busy during our visit. Hibachi was available immediately. Hibachi was phenomenal! We ordered filet and lobster, shrimp and scallops, and steak and shrimp. Chef was very interactive and personable. Saki bombs, saki shots are very important must haves. The food was very good and plentiful. $50 per adult.

My son took me and my daughter and Grandson here tonight. This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Our hibachi chef was AWESOME!! He was so funny and entertaining, the food was absolutely delicious and u get a lot of hibachi for a good price. The atmosphere was so chill and relaxing.Honestly this was one of the best experiences of my life!! Highly recommend!!
