A significant feature of Kwongnan Restaurant is the emphasis on flavorful food. Beyond the Szechuan offerings, another customer who tried the "broccoli beef & chicken chowmein" reported that it was "good." This suggests that Kwongnan Restaurant also serves more familiar and widely popular Chinese-American dishes to a satisfactory standard. Customer Reviews
Nice little Chinese restaurant with plenty of flavor. Szechuan string beans was fire, as well as the mapo tofu. Would come back again.
First time, got broccoli beef & chicken chowmein. It was good. Got takeout, lady seemed nice. Not a very busy place. Might come back for the chowmein I like the white sprouts.
Bring your own dishes. Came for dine-in and server said afterwards that they serve in togo dishes. Dishes order, sautéed tofu w/ ckn, oyster sauce Beef w/ rice lunch special, mongolian beef w/fried rice lunch special, wonton noodle soup, egg flower soup, half a duck, 3 H2o bottles and 1 coke can. $98 🤔 Proportion were good and taste of food in general is 4 out of 5. However, asking for a bowl and disposable fork or spoons is like an ingrown toenail. If they can, they'd probably give us yesterday's paper to use as a paper plate. No bathroom to wash your hands or sanitizer. But she will fill up an old plastic bowl of water and pour it over your hands in the parking lot. This is literally a hole in the wall ran by one cook and one server. The setting would probably be better if it were a food truck. At least we know what to expect when eating outside. So if considering to come to this place, double check you bill amount, bring your own cutlery and plates and your own hot/soy sauce.
Dirty, sketchy and disgusting. Awkwardly silent. The sole staff member present was rude to us, her only customers. The bathroom door couldn’t even close because there were a bunch of boxes stacked in the doorway.
First time here and when we went to pick up the food, the place seemed a bit dirty. Because of this, I made sure to look at what I ate, and I’m happy I did because there was a fly in the greens. When we called to ask for a refund, they refused and said they’d make a new order. We don’t want to risk eating anymore, and they refused to refund us even if we returned everything. Not good business.
