About KungFu Noodle

KungFu Noodle is a restaurant located at 2205 N Central Expy #125, Plano, TX 75075, USA. They can be contacted at (469) 969-0200 or +1 469-969-0200. While listed under the category of Chinese Restaurant, it appears to be a noodle-centric establishment that attracts ramen lovers.

One customer who visited on a snowy day in Texas found it to be "the perfect spot to warm up!" As a "ramen enthusiast," they decided to try KungFu Noodle due to its convenient location. Upon entering, they were greeted, but the staff member seemed "a bit pushy about taking my order." They appreciated being given a moment to review the menu and ultimately ordered the "Szechuan Noodle Bowl," drawn to the fact that "they make their noodles in-house." This customer was very satisfied with their choice, stating that "Everything in the dish—from the fresh veggies to the perfectly cooked meat and the homemade noodles—was fantastic. The flavor was rich and satisfying," and they didn't feel the need for extra seasoning. They expressed excitement about returning with family and recommending it to ramen-loving friends, calling it "A great find for a cozy meal!"

Another customer noted "Great price with adequate quantity for the price." They found the "crispy salt pepper chicken" to be "delicious, super crispy and the texture was great." However, their opinion on other dishes varied. They thought the "beef noodle soup" with "clear broth" had "good flavor" but wasn't their "go to favorite beef noodle soup." The "braised rib rice was just so so, not something I'd get again." The most disappointing dish for them was the "marinated beef shank," which they found had "beef slices were too thick," the "marinate was too salty," and was "just overall not that great," suggesting "There's other places that taste better."

Based on these reviews, KungFu Noodle in Plano, TX, offers homemade noodles that are a highlight, particularly in the Szechuan Noodle Bowl, which is praised for its fresh ingredients and rich flavor. The crispy salt pepper chicken is also well-received for its taste and texture. The restaurant offers good value with adequate portions at a great price. The atmosphere is described as cozy. However, other dishes like the beef noodle soup, braised rib rice, and marinated beef shank received less favorable reviews. I recently visited Kung Fu Noodle on a snowy day in Texas, and it was the perfect spot to warm up! As a ramen enthusiast, I had passed by this place many times, but this time I decided to give it a try since it was conveniently located across the street. Upon entering, I was greeted, but the staff member seemed a bit pushy about taking my order. I asked for a moment to look over the menu, and I appreciated the chance to decide at my own pace. I ended up ordering the Szechuan Noodle Bowl, drawn in by the fact that they make their noodles in-house. The bowl arrived, and I can confidently say it did not disappoint! Everything in the dish—from the fresh veggies to the perfectly cooked meat and the homemade noodles—was fantastic. The flavor was rich and satisfying, and I didn't feel the need to add anything extra. I’m excited to bring my family back and will definitely recommend Kung Fu Noodle to my ramen-loving friends. A great find for a cozy meal!

The restaurant was empty when we got in. The woman looked impatient, no hello no nothing, just asked us how many people we are. When she gave us our drinks it looked like she wanted to be gone from our table - kind of threw the straws on the table and left. The food was average at most and we got the wrong egg type, since the server's english wasn't that great. We wanted a sunny side up, but got over medium as you can see in the picture. I've worked in the serving industry and I know what it looks like when an employee doesn't want to work. My suspicions got confirmed when she checked on us one time from afar after we almost had had finished our food at that point. However what happened next never happened to me before and our table was a bit startled. Her and her husband (I suppose) started screaming at each other in Chinese (he was in the kitchen) . At one point she asked him to keep quiet since we were there I guess? He kept going off and at some point she raised her voice to which he shushed her. We left and I'm sure we don't be back.

Spicy Beef Brisket Noodle Soup Godzilla Roll Visited on 7/1 for lunch. Service & atmosphere were great! The Spicy Beef Brisket Noodle Soup was not spicy at all but had good flavor.

The Godzilla roll is the best tasting sushi roll I’ve ever had! We also got chicken fried rice, veg chowmein, and a fried chicken appetizer. The rice and noodles have a fresh and hot off the wok flavor. Also, the woman who took care of us was so kind, and she made sure everything was good and our drinks were full. They also accommodated our request for no onion in the rice with no issue. Great service, trendy and clean dining room, and awesome food.
