About Kung Fu Little Steamed Buns Ramen

Welcome to Kung Fu Little Steamed Buns Ramen, a Chinese Restaurant nestled in the heart of Manhattan at 146 E 55th St, New York, NY 10022, USA. As a Chinese Restaurant, Kung Fu Little Steamed Buns Ramen serves up seriously satisfying Chinese comfort food, earning Michelin recognition in 2018, indicating a high level of culinary expectation. You can contact them at (212) 804-8556 or +1 212-804-8556.

A standout feature of this restaurant is their Little Steamed Buns, also known as soup dumplings. Customers describe the delicate, thin skin holding a rich, savory soup that bursts upon the first bite, making them a must-try for soup dumpling enthusiasts.

Another notable dish is the Stir-Fried Hand-Cut Noodles with Beef. While one reviewer found it a bit salty, they praised the excellent texture of the hand-cut noodles and the presence of "wok hei," the desirable smoky stir-fry aroma.

The Shrimp & Pork Dumpling Soup is highlighted as a personal favorite, featuring generously sized dumplings with a tender, juicy filling swimming in a flavorful broth, offering pure comfort in a bowl.

For a warm and hearty way to conclude a meal, the Sticky Rice Balls in Sweet Rice Soup are recommended. The chewy rice balls, filled with fragrant black sesame, provide a perfect touch of sweetness.

Kung Fu Little Steamed Buns Ramen is described as a super unassuming restaurant that delivers authentic Chinese flavors with solid execution. One customer specifically recommends their beef noodle soup as one of the best in the city. The service is noted as quick, although a visit on a holiday Monday evening found very few diners, which might be typical for such occasions.

If you're craving authentic Chinese flavors and are looking for a spot that has received Michelin recognition, Kung Fu Little Steamed Buns Ramen is definitely worth a visit in Midtown East. While specific promotional information is not available, the positive reviews highlight the quality and taste of their dishes, particularly the steamed buns and noodle soups.

Tucked away in the heart of Manhattan, Kung Fu Steamed Bun Ramen serves up some seriously satisfying Chinese comfort food. Having received Michelin recognition in 2018, expectations were high-and they didn't disappoint! / Little Steamed Buns - The delicate, thin skin held a rich, savory soup that burst out upon the first bite. A must-try for soup dumpling lovers! Stir-Fried Hand-Cut Noodles with Beef - The wok hei (that amazing smoky stir-fry aroma) was spot on, but the dish leaned a bit salty for my taste. Still, the texture of the hand-cut noodles was excellent. Shrimp & Pork Dumpling Soup - My personal favorite! The dumplings were generously sized, with tender, juicy filling swimming in a flavourful broth. Pure comfort in a bowl! Sticky Rice Balls in Sweet Rice Soup - A warm, hearty way to end the meal. The chewy rice balls, filled with fragrant black sesame, added the perfect touch of sweetness. If you're craving authentic Chinese flavours with solid execution, this spot is definitely worth a visit. What's your go-to dish when eating Chinese? Let me know in the comments.

Was craving noodle soup last night while in the area so popped in when I saw that they had beef noodle soup on the menu. It's a super unassuming restaurant, but hands down, one of my favorite beef noodle soups in the city (and I've had a lot)! Quick service, very few diners but as expected for a holiday monday evening.

[UBER EATS ORDER] - Dumplings were alright, very doughy. Wish there was a bit more umph to them. The sauce was literally vinegar and soya, did not feel super inventive - the assorted family pack of dumplings were better than the plain pork ones (those were less exciting) - scallion pancake was dry / oily, maybe that’s how it’s meant to be - The boba had very very very hard tapioca. I was not a huge fan They may be better in person. 12 dumplings, boba, scallion pancakes were ~$45-55 which felt high for me (granted some uber fees)

Nice little restaurant that you might have to share your table with other guests. Although, it’s well worth! The xiao long bao was juicy and full of flavors. Wonton soup is also very good—boy choy was cooked perfectly and the dumplings are huge and yummy. Another thing I like was fried Peking duck steamed buns. They are not stingy with the filling and also not trying to cheat customers with ridiculous amount of dough. Definitely want to come back and would recommend to anyone

The roast duck ramen was simple, but every element was delicious. Handmade egg noodles, buttery bok choy, roast duck that falls off the bone, and stems of fresh cilantro. The bun was excellent too, better than I expected.
