About Kung Fu Chef King

Kung Fu Chef King is a Chinese Restaurant located within the Stamford Town Center food court at 100 Greyrock Pl, Stamford, CT 06901, USA. You can reach them at (475) 333-0059 or +1 475-333-0059.

Based on customer reviews, Kung Fu Chef King is exceptionally well-regarded for its consistently fantastic food and stellar service. Many customers feel the quality exceeds a typical 5-star rating. A popular recommendation is the two-item combo, which can be paired with noodles or white rice, featuring the highly praised black pepper chicken. Other excellent choices include the orange chicken and sesame chicken.

The wontons and sugar donuts are also highlighted as great additions to the meal. Notably, Kung Fu Chef King is also considered crazy affordable, offering excellent value for the quality and portion sizes. For instance, the Jumbo Shrimp with Broccoli and Chicken with Broccoli over noodles, priced under $11, is noted for its very good portion size.

The staff is described as really nice and clearly passionate about their food. While the sauces are mentioned to be on the thicker side due to the use of corn starch, this is acknowledged as a characteristic of classic Chinese cuisine. Kung Fu Chef King also uses eco-friendly containers, which is appreciated by customers.

For those looking for great and affordable Chinese food within the Stamford Town Center food court, Kung Fu Chef King is consistently rated as one of the best options available.

I can’t give a review higher than 5 stars which is a shame, this place deserves it. Their food is consistently fantastic and their service is stellar. Highly recommend the two item combo with either noodles or white rice and black pepper chicken & whatever else. The orange chicken and sesame chicken are great as well. I went the other day and ordered just rice and two servings of BP chicken, it’s so good. The wontons and sugar donuts are also great. It’s also crazy affordable!! Go here!!

Really nice people who clearly care about what they do. When you want your dish over noodles this is honestly great Chinese food for a mall environment. They use a little too much corn starch so the sauces are really thick but that's the basis of classic Chinese food. Portion size is very good for Jumbo Shrimp with Broccoli and Chicken with Broccoli for under $11 over noodles. They serve in Eco containers which is a very nice touch. Overall I'd honestly of the Town Center food court options this and the Indian immediately next door are the best options.

It’s been a while since I last ate here—back when Panda Express left—but I’m so glad to say that the food still tastes just as great as I remembered. The fact that the flavors haven't changed is a big plus for me. I had the orange chicken with fried rice and broccoli, and it was excellent as always. But I think I’ve found a new favorite! The black pepper chicken, combined with chicken and broccoli, mixed veggies, and noodles, is absolutely delicious. It’s a perfect balance of flavors and really hit the spot. Definitely coming back soon to try more.

Really mediocre food. The Chow Mein seemed very “manufactured” and the orange chicken was terrible. It’s almost as if they chopped up a chicken and threw it into a vat of sugar and red food coloring and called it a day. Typical food-court atmosphere, not much to complain about. The only saving grace was the black pepper chicken, which was actually really good. Definitely get that instead of the orange chicken.
