Kumori Sushi & Teppanyaki - San Antonio Potranco Plaza

Went here on a late parents date night. When we arrived, we couldn't tell if it was open as the seating outside was not put together and you couldn't see in side (tinted windows for the sunlight). The only way we knew was the OPEN sigh flashing above the door. Its located right off the highway in the corner of 410 and Potranco. As soon as we walked in we were greeted but the hostess who ended up being our waitress also. There was only 5 other customers in the restaurant and about 4 other employees. She took our drink order and came back pretty quickly. We also got a soup....I think it was like a seaweed soup. I'm not a fan of soup so I didn't really have mine but it was very flavorful. We decided to try an appetizer and the SPICY SALMON TOWER was amazing. We kept trying to remember what was in the food because it was delicious and we just wanted to make sure we were right on what we thought we were eating. The Wasabi sauce that was on the plate was so delicious. It was the right amount of fire added to the food. We decided to each get an order and split it. We got the SAN ANTONIO ROLL and the ALASKAN ROLL. Both were very good. They didn't fall apart at all and were very big pieces. We took some home to our kids who were very jealous that we went without them. For dessert we had the TEMPURA BANANA. This was such an amazing choice. The crunch if the banana with the coolness of the ice cream was very tasty. The sauces on the plate made the dessert more delectable. I would like to go back just for the dessert, and to eat it by myself. The seating area was very well kept and looked very elegant inside. If you get a chance you should give this place a try.

Hands down my favorite place to get sushi. The all you can eat option is fantastic! Destiny is always our server and she's awesome! She is always so kind and is attentive to your needs. I highly recommend this place and wish I could give it more stars.

This chain is going down hill, the one at Alamo ranch is just as bad as this location. Drinks came fast, then took 16 min for them to take our order, they were too busy on their phones to take our order apparently, place was dead so no excuse for it being busy. Made sure to take a photo to show how busy it really was. Once order was in the food came pretty quick after. Never had our drinks refilled, she offered as we were asking for the check to leave, never came and checked on us once until we were ready to leave. Disappointing since the food quality is always good. Hopefully they can turn the place around. I used to suggest this place to everyone and today is going to be the last unfortunately.

Our waiter was very nice and tended to us frequently. The food was amazing. Will definitely come back.

Love this location. The food is fresh and delicious. Service is great! We’ve been there several times and both Destiny and Amanda have been awesome! Thanks for a great dining experience.
