About Kumori Sushi & Teppanyaki

Please be aware that Kumori Sushi & Teppanyaki, based on the provided information from the USA, is a Japanese restaurant specializing in sushi and teppanyaki cuisine, and it is not a Chinese restaurant. This introduction will focus on its offerings and atmosphere as a Japanese dining establishment for local users in Singapore who might be interested in this type of food.

Kumori Sushi & Teppanyaki offers an "all-you-can-eat" (AYCE) option that is competitively priced. During weekdays before 5 pm, the AYCE is available for $20, while it costs $30 all day for dinner with a wider selection of options. This pricing structure and the AYCE format are significant features that might appeal to diners looking for value and variety.

While the taste and presentation of the food are praised as "great" and "beautiful," consistent with another location (Potranco), one reviewer noted that the service can be slow due to the sushi chefs and kitchen being busy. This suggests that during peak hours, there might be a longer wait time for food.

Despite the potential delays, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff are highlighted as "outstanding." A specific staff member named Sandra is commended for ensuring drinks were always refilled and for being patient and kind, described as a "Rockstar." The rest of the team is also noted for being accommodating, especially when a customer had a spill. The restaurant is also described as "so clean," indicating a well-maintained environment.

The sushi itself is described as "fresh," and specific rolls like the San Antonio, Philadelphia, and Rainbow roll were found to be "delicious." The menu also features a unique "chihuahua" roll, which one reviewer found interesting and plans to try on a future visit, suggesting some locally inspired or creative sushi options.

The information provided does not contain any specific promotional details beyond the pricing structure for the all-you-can-eat menu. For local users in Singapore, it would be advisable to check local listings or the official Kumori Sushi & Teppanyaki Singapore website (if one exists) for any current promotions, discounts, or special offers.

In conclusion, while Kumori Sushi & Teppanyaki is a Japanese restaurant and not a Chinese restaurant, it offers an attractive all-you-can-eat option with fresh and delicious sushi and teppanyaki. The service is highly praised for its friendliness and attentiveness, and the environment is noted for its cleanliness. Potential customers in Singapore should be aware of potential delays during busy periods but can expect a pleasant dining experience with good food and excellent service.

We went to try the AYCE which is very competitively priced (20 before 5 pm on weekdays or 30 all day for dinner with more options. ) Only 4 stars because the food takes so long as the sushi chefs and kitchen are backed up- but tastes great and looks beautiful, just like the Potranco location. But unlike the other location, the actual staff friendliness and service is outstanding! Sandra made sure all our drinks stayed filled and was very patient and kind. She was a Rockstar. And the other team was accommodating as well when we spilled our glass. So clean too.

The sushi was fresh and the San Antonio, Philadelphia and Rainbow roll was delicious. Looking at the menu I saw a “chihuahua” roll which sounds sooo SA and will definitely try next time.

When we arrived there was only one other couple dining, and 6 staff members that we could see. Ive never had to wait so long for sushi. I don’t think the employees knew how to make the dishes offered on the menu, as they were jokingly reading the ingredients off of the menu to each other attempting to make an appetizer salad that we had ordered. Because it was so slow, we could hear everything being said inside the restaurant by the staff. It took 30 minutes to get one roll of sushi (all you can eat, it’s gonna be a loooong night at this rate). My empty water glass sat on the edge of the table for half of the meal- our server offered to refill my husbands tea but I didn’t get a refill on my water until I asked him 5 visits later. Many of my sushi pieces were falling apart, as I’m not sure the gentleman putting them together was even familiar with the process? The staff was very into each other, and loudly talking about reselling things they had bought online and who took an uber and buying cars- I guess taking care of the guests just wasn’t a priority this evening. Unfortunately we will not be coming back to this restaurant or any other of their locations. This was not an enjoyable experience, and was definitely not worth my time or money. The food was not plated well, it was bland and un appealing. Our server was quiet and I could barely hear him- not that he said more than a few words the entire night. I hope y’all figure it out for future guests- this could have been so much better, in so many ways.

Another great sushi place! Thoroughly enjoyed the sushi at this hidden restaurant in Alamo Ranch. The shrimp balls, Alaskan roll, miso soup, and other dishes we tried were prepared with expertise to match our tastes! Must try!

They charge 4 dollars for water?? And the waiter was terrible, no enthusiasm at all. He seemed to hate his job, and I don't understand why he had to worsen my experience.DO NOT try the curry, it's horrible. The sushi here is pretty good though
