About KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot
While KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is listed under the platform category of Chinese Restaurant, the information clearly indicates it is a Korean BBQ and Hot Pot restaurant located at 12485 I-10, San Antonio, TX 78230, USA. It's important for local users in Singapore to be aware of this geographical location, as direct services are not available locally.
Based on customer reviews, KPOT is a highly popular and lively dining destination. Even on a rainy Thursday afternoon, the restaurant was packed, suggesting it's a sought-after spot. Despite its popularity, the wait times are reported to be short, and the venue is spacious with ample seating. There is a 2-hour eating limit in place.
KPOT offers both Korean BBQ and Hot Pot options. However, it's noted that everyone at the table must agree on a single option. For the BBQ, customers order meats and vegetables through a server, while a self-serve bar provides a variety of sauces, condiments, and desserts. Rice portions are mentioned to be small. Spicy options are noted to have a significant kick compared to other places. The restaurant boasts a wide selection of marinated meats, often flavorful enough to enjoy without additional sauces.
The service at KPOT is consistently praised as "top-notch." Waitresses are attentive, frequently refilling drinks, checking on customers, and answering questions. A continuous flow of bussers ensures that tables are promptly cleared of empty dishes, preventing clutter.
The atmosphere at KPOT is described as "crazy" and "lively," with a mix of entertainment displayed on various TVs, including K-Pop, Pokemon, and sports. The modern decor is also appreciated. The restaurant seems to attract a diverse clientele, including service members. While there is no specific promotional information mentioned in these reviews, the overall positive experience and the "new jam" status declared by one reviewer suggest a satisfying dining experience. For users in Singapore seeking Korean BBQ and Hot Pot, it would be best to explore local establishments offering similar cuisine and ambiance.

This place was PACKED on a rainy Thursday afternoon, so I can only imagine what it's like when people actually want to be out and about. That being said, the wait wasn't long at all, and the place is pretty huge, so there is plenty of seating. 2 hr eating limit. Both hot pot and BBQ are available, but the table has to all agree on which to do. For BBQ, you order all the meat and veggies from the server, but the sauce and condiment bar, including desserts, is self-serve. Small rice portions, the spicy options have more kick than I have had at other places (beware), and a wide variety of meat options, all of which are marinated to perfection (so you don't even need the sauce bar unless you are going for a very particular flavor). The service is great, with a continuous train of bussers taking away empty plates, so the table doesn't stay cluttered long. The atmosphere is crazy! We had K-Pop on one TV, Pokemon on another, and sports on another. Lots of service members here eating, too. Next time we will be trying the hot pot!
Kpot is my new jam. The food here is soooooo good. We literally ordered almost every piece of meat, sides and vegetables. Everything was fresh and delicious. I definitely added about 10 pounds leaving this place. The service is definitely top notch. Our waitress was on point, refilling drinks and constantly checking on us and answering questions as they arose. The other staff members were consistently taking away any dirty dishes and making sure we had room in the table. As far as atmosphere, this place is lively. Great music and and I enjoyed the modern decor. I absolutely recommend this place and will be back many more times.
Visiting from out of town and was craving some Hot Pot and walked in on a Tuesday night. There was no wait and I was greeted quickly and attentively. All you can eat plus tip cost me $40. I got the first listed broth on the menu as suggested by the server and I was very pleased with the flavor. The meats and vegetables were served at the same time as my broth so I did wait a minute with food on the table while the broth heated to a boil. There is a sauce bar on the front of the restaurant with a variety of tasty sauces. The quality of the food did not meet my expectations though. The server did leave me drink-less for a bit. And when I left the restaurant my entire clothing stunk of grease. Overall good place but this is just what I experienced here.
Had a awesome time for the most part! The food was amazing and quick to come out after you say what you are looking to cook. The only downside I have is when I went with my husband we were mid cooking when a worker, not our server, would walk by and turn off our grill. At first we didn’t know it was turned off and we noticed after a while our pieces of protein wasn’t cooking all the way and then noticed our grill was off. This happened 4 times! By the same worker, it was to the point he did it anytime he walked by our table and it was super frustrating as we just wanted to enjoy our experience and eat properly but we have to wait longer to make sure our food was completely cooked. Which I feel some meats were undercooked cause we kept having to turn our grill back on. Other than that our server, Xavier, was super sweet and very helpful. I would love to try this experience again but maybe a different restaurant where the worker doesn’t play with our grill.
10/10 ! This was my first time and my whole experience was amazing ! I was so impressed with the speed of the service and the quality of the food. The restaurant had a lot going on but it was not overwhelming. My waiter Armin and gave my sister a belated birthday cake with gift from the store !
