About Korea King

Korea King, located at 4719 S 96th St, Omaha, NE 68127, USA, with phone numbers (402) 593-6568 and +1 402-593-6568, is categorized under the platform as a Chinese Restaurant. However, customer reviews indicate that it primarily serves Korean cuisine.

Regarding the environment, one reviewer mentioned that it is a "family owned" establishment. Another noted that payment is handled upfront when the customer is ready.

Service experiences appear to be mixed. One customer who dined in felt they were treated "quite well" by the family owners. However, another reviewer experienced "odd" service with the upfront payment. A subsequent visit by the same reviewer noted that the service was "not the best" due to a new waitress, leading to a reduction in their rating.

The food at Korea King has received varied feedback. One customer ordering through DoorDash found the food to "taste good" and "pretty decent as Asian standard too." However, they reported missing rice and a smaller portion size for the Galbi, suggesting it might be worth only half the price for delivery. They also noted that the Bulgogi tasted good but was "not Korean style," leaning towards "white people seasoning." This reviewer suggested that in-store portions might be larger but estimated needing to spend $50 or more via delivery to feel full. In contrast, another customer who dined in was "blown outta the water" by the pork cutlet and side dishes, particularly enjoying the Korean pickles and bean sprouts. They also expressed anticipation for trying the short ribs on a future visit and later enjoyed the Kanpoonki, describing it as "sweet, savory and spicy" and something they would order again.

Based on customer reviews, Korea King offers a range of Korean dishes, with some receiving high praise for taste and quality, while others, particularly those ordered for delivery, have been criticized for portion size and authenticity. The service experience seems to vary, with positive interactions noted with the family owners but potential inconsistencies with other staff. Local users interested in trying Korean cuisine in Omaha should consider these mixed reviews regarding portion sizes for delivery and potential service inconsistencies.

Just ordered through doordash. First, food does taste good, pretty decent as Asian standard too. Problem is that they missed my rice, and the portion for Galbi is way smaller. Taste wise it does not taste special, and I believe it is regular galbi, but portion is probably worth half the price. Bulgogi does taste good, but it is not Korean style. It felt more like white people seasoning Maybe they give you more when you’re in store; however, if ordering delivery size is so small you must pay $50 and more to be full, without tips and fees

I was blown outta the water here! This pork cutlet and the side dishes were all amazing! I personally enjoyed the Korean pickles! As well as the bean sprouts! But this hit the spot and the craving I was wanting! The only thing I have to "complain" is that service was a bit odd, you go and pay up front whenever you are ready. But it's family owned and they treat you quite well! Definitely gonna have to try their short ribs next time! Update! Came back here on 3/30, food was just as delicious as last time! I got the Kanpoonki it was sweet, savory and spicy! Definitely will get it again! The service wasn't the best this time around. I know the waitress was new but hopefully next time she'll be better! But that's why I'm taking down a star for the service.

**My personal intake on this place. If you like a descriptive detailed review. This is the review for you.** It’s so rare for me to give many food joints a 5 star review but I can whole heartedly and confidently say that this place deserves it! I recently had the pleasure of trying Korean spicy bulgogi at Korea King, and it was an unforgettable culinary experience. The dish was a feast for the senses! The vibrant colors of the marinated pork, glistening with a spicy red hue, were incredibly inviting. The aroma wafting from the plate, an intoxicating blend of garlic, sesame, and the distinctive kick of gochugaru, set my taste buds tingling in anticipation. The pork itself was perfectly tender, marinated just long enough to absorb all the flavors while maintaining a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Each bite was a delightful mix of sweet and spicy, with the marinade perfectly balanced; neither overpowering nor too subtle. The addition of fresh vegetables added a nice crunch and brightness, enhancing the overall dish! The experience was further elevated by the friendly service and the restaurant’s inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this dish to anyone who loves authentic Korean cuisine, or if you’re new to Korean food and would love to try some authentic bold flavors! If you’re looking for a flavorful adventure that warms the soul, you can’t go wrong with this spicy bulgogi! In terms of price, very reasonable! We’re talking close to 2 pounds of meat at around 20$ price tag. In total I paid around 45$ for the drinks, sides and main dish for 2 1/2 people (I count my toddler as 1/2). Definitely a delicious and beautiful experience that I will be attending again!

I was in the neighborhood and decided to check this place out. First up was the banchan which was fresh, vibrant and all around delicious. Than came the spicy bulgulgi with white rice as the side. This sweet, savory and mild spicy dish was a beautiful symphony of flavors. Next up the Korean fried chicken. Crunchy and savory with a slight sweet notes. This was an awesome way to end my meal. The meat was still juicy the sauce was just what my taste buds needed. And to top it all off the best part of my day was meeting Da'n I hope I spelled that right. Sorry if I didn't. But she was fantastic. She was full of smiles. She greeted me and made me feel safe and comfortable. She gave me some menu options and brought the food out promptly and also talked with me after my meal. She is one of the reasons I will be frequently be coming back. That and the menu. Thank you!

Tasty Korean food. Gyoza was the best. The ribs could have used a glaze to bring in the flavor a bit, but overall still good.
