We came here for the first time recently based on online recommendations. Food was overall average but the prices were great and the service was fast. There’s a large menu and they take cash only. We went during winter around 11:30am and we were able to be seated right away. This place is cash only. We got a few dishes: - Curry fish balls: It was decent, but similar to the other curry fish balls you can find in Chinatown so it didn’t feel like anything special. - Golden lava French toast: Tasted good, definitely on the sweet side. Better as a dessert rather than breakfast. - Beef chow fun in brown sauce: Fantastic. Great wok hei flavour. - Baked rice with pork chop: You have an option of 3 sauces: cream, tomato, or black pepper. I ordered the cream base for nostalgia, but was pretty disappointed. I’ve definitely had way better. The pork chop in it was pretty good though! I saw many people order the baked rice - perhaps I’ll try a different sauce base last time since the waitress said it was one of their more popular dishes. Overall, some dishes were great, some were just okay, but they’ve got a huge menu and we’re open to coming back and trying some of their other dishes!
Highly recommend this place. The golden lava toast was so good, crunchy and combined with the warm custard - wow. We also ordered crispy noodles and those were also very good. We put ourselves on the wait-list upon arriving and got in within ~10 min.
Exceptional. Highly recommended. The food, atmosphere, and service (Chiu is entertaining!) are superior, along with the great pricing. We can't wait to come back. This place made my dad think back to his HK childhood days. Broad menu, the food and tea were so tasty, fresh, hot and delicious. Try the gooey or PB french toast, the baked pork chop over rice (we chose the noodles) and traditional milk tea. Be prepared to wait (outside) during peak times!

KST is the best Hk cafe in Chinatown, love how quick service is and that they leave you alone to eat. Portions are humongous, milk tea is delicious and not too sweet. Beware it does get busy, so may need to queue at time, but table turnover is relatively quick. I’ve only visited for breakfast, not lunch. This is the beef macaroni in soup with iced milk tea ($10usd).
