KOME Japanese Cuisine

Kome was a TOTAL delight. The food was fantastic. The chicken was delicious. The chef was the best. My favorite part was the onion volcano. The only complaint I have is the acoustics. I get that people are talkative at restaurants but it’s considerably loud.

We had the best girls’ night at KOMÉ! The food was absolutely stunning—each dish was so beautifully presented and tasted incredible. The flavors were fresh, and the variety was perfect for sharing. We especially loved the sushi rolls and appetizers; they were a hit at the table! The drinks were refreshing and well-made, adding to the great vibes of the evening. The ambiance was classy and perfect for a relaxed night out, though it’s slightly dim, which gives it a cozy feel. KOMÉ is definitely a spot I’d recommend for a girls’ night, date night, or any special outing. The combination of amazing food, drinks, and overall experience makes it a must-visit.

Nice place for sushi that’s a little more elegant than many other sushi spots in the Valley. The food is very good. It’s also pretty pricey. I wouldn’t say I’ve ever been blown away by the food or service, but it is very good overall. Had a weird experience with the front desk. Husband and I walked in. There was no one waiting to be seated. We had reservations. Two people at the front desk. One saw us then turned her back. The other guy was just writing stuff down also with his back turned. We waited and waited. They never acknowledged us or said they be right with us. It was like they were intentionally not turning around to greet us. When the woman did finally turn around, she just looked at us. No “can I help you?” We told her we had reservations and gave our name. Not a word was spoken. The dude just picked up two menus and started walking quickly away. I said “I guess we are supposed to follow him!?” It was WEIRD. Got us to our table. He set the menus down and promptly walked away. Not one single word was spoken to us till our server got to the table. Bizarre!

Drinks were good, food was good except for my duck. It was overcooked but our waitress did ask if we would like to have it removed from the check. I ordered something else and it was fine. Our waitress was great but I combined it with the kitchen due the duck mishap. Atmosphere was great. It was completely packed on a Saturday night. Menu has good selection. Prices are good. Overall it was a good experience.

I got the habachi grill chicken and shrimp. While it wasn’t amazing, it wasn’t terrible. What didn’t make it great was because everything tasted the same. I know it’s all cooked one way but I would not be able to tell the shrimp from the chicken if I didn’t see a difference. Like I said it wasn’t bad but just not what I had anticipated. The atmosphere is nice, it looks classy for habachi which is always nice. I got the spicy tuna roll as well, I would give it a 7/10. It was ok but definitely not a single ounce of spice lol. Servers, waitress, and the cook were all super nice I got a watermelon mocktail I think it was and it was super delicious so I would say they are good for their drinks. I tried a different roll from a friend which was definitely better than mine. I would go back for maybe drinks and rolls for sure. For my meal I paid around 72$. I didn’t take pictures of my food but you can see some parts of my plate with the habachi.
