Welcome to Kitchen999, a recently established Chinese restaurant located at 44-10 Kissena Blvd in the vibrant neighborhood of Flushing, New York. As a new addition to the Chinese Restaurant category in the area, Kitchen999 has quickly garnered attention for its delicious food, convenient ordering system, and customer-friendly policies. If you are a local user in Flushing looking for a fresh and satisfying Chinese dining experience, whether for a quick meal or takeout, Kitchen999 is a place worth exploring.
You can easily reach Kitchen999 by phone at (917) 819-0168 or via their mobile number +1 917-819-0168. While the reviews mention both dine-in and takeout, you can use these contact numbers to confirm their full range of services, including potential delivery options.
Based on the initial feedback from customers, the environment at Kitchen999 appears to be modern and efficient. One notable feature is the presence of an "order kiosk near the entrance with plenty of pictures." This self-service kiosk is particularly beneficial for customers who may not speak or read Chinese, as the visual aids make the ordering process much more accessible and straightforward. This suggests that Kitchen999 is aiming to cater to a diverse clientele and prioritize ease of ordering. While specific details about the décor and seating arrangements are not provided, the focus on a user-friendly ordering system indicates a modern approach to customer service. The fact that the restaurant is clean and comfortable enough to become a favorite of a local resident's grandmother after only a month of opening suggests a welcoming atmosphere.
The services offered at Kitchen999 include both dine-in and takeout. The order kiosk facilitates a quick and efficient ordering process for both types of service. A significant service feature that Kitchen999 advertises is a "no tips" policy. This is a notable aspect that can influence the overall cost and dining experience for customers, as the prices listed are what you can expect to pay without the added expense of tipping. This policy can be attractive to those who prefer a more transparent and predictable cost for their meals.
One of the standout features of Kitchen999 is the quality and variety of its Chinese food. Customers have described the food as "really good," indicating a commitment to taste and authenticity. The menu appears to be quite extensive, as one reviewer noted "lots of noodles and other dishes over rice." This suggests a broad selection of main courses catering to different preferences. The restaurant also specializes in dumplings, with one reviewer mentioning that "the dumplings seem to come in baskets of 4, like the Xaio Long Bao." This implies that they offer soup dumplings (xiao long bao) or a similar style of small, flavorful dumplings served in individual steamers, which are a popular delicacy in Chinese cuisine.
Two dishes that have received specific praise in the reviews are the "fried chicken set" and the "soup dumplings." The fried chicken set is clearly a popular item, and its inclusion on the menu suggests a broader appeal beyond just traditional Chinese dishes. The positive mention of soup dumplings further reinforces the restaurant's strength in dumpling preparation. These two highlighted dishes indicate that Kitchen999 offers both comforting classics and more specialized items, catering to a range of tastes.
Another feature that contributes to Kitchen999's appeal is its pricing. One reviewer commented that "prices are relatively good for NYC," indicating that the restaurant offers good value for money, especially considering the typically higher cost of dining in New York City. This affordability, combined with the quality of the food and the no-tipping policy, makes Kitchen999 an attractive option for budget-conscious diners.
As a relatively new establishment, having only opened a month prior to one of the reviews, Kitchen999 has already made a positive impression on the local community, quickly becoming a favorite for some residents. This rapid positive reception speaks volumes about the quality of their food and service.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. However, new restaurants often have introductory offers or specials to attract customers. They only opened a month ago but this has quickly become my grandma’s favorite restaurant! We’ve eaten or gotten takeout here 4 times already. We especially love the fried chicken set and the soup dumplings.
