Kirin City Restaurant

This is a hidden gem in Springfield. They have absolutely amazing food that has beautiful plating/ presentation. I highly recommend it. We waited for a really long time to be seated, which was odd since there was only one table sat. But overall service was great and the food was delicious!

The Food was excellent. My family was a little early for the dinner rush so we had the restaurant to ourselves. It was a nice and peaceful place to eat. I highly recommend this place. We had the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box, Kirin Happy Family, and the Honey Walnut Shrimp. There was a long wait between our order arrival so next time I would specifically ask that all food is brought out at one time.

This place was comfortable and the atmosphere was good, but the service was not great at all and the food was quite bland (aside from the chow fun beef which was the 5 star item in flavor and tenderness) making the prices really not worth it. I don't think we'll be returning.

The sesame chicken was good but the chow fun was the star. I think it's probably the best noodle dish we've ever had.

I love Chinese food and Kirin City is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant and tops them all in my opinion. So welcoming and exceptional service. My first visit I went with my husband and mother-in-law and I have been back three more times. Lunch special runs M-F 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. Take your family or get takeout, I promise you will not be disappointed! Update 9/7/22** Since my first review this is mine and my families go to place for Chinese food, it's just that good and honestly no other Chinese Restaurant competes in my opinion. Kirin is just too good.
