About Kingdom Dim Sum
Kingdom Dim Sum, located at 5445 Hollywood Blvd Suite B in Los Angeles, is a Chinese restaurant specializing in dim sum that has garnered positive reviews for its consistently delicious food and efficient service. Many locals frequent this spot for lunch and leave thoroughly satisfied, making it a reliable choice when craving quality Chinese cuisine.
A standout dish frequently mentioned is the crispy lemon chicken, praised for its perfect crispiness, flavorful taste, and tangy, slightly sweet sauce that coats the chicken beautifully while maintaining its crunch – a significant achievement. The fried rice is also highly regarded, noted for its authentic wok-fried flavor, balanced seasoning, and generous mix of fluffy rice, tender meat, and fresh vegetables in every bite.
The restaurant itself is described as having a classic dim sum joint ambiance – casual, bustling, and filled with patrons who appreciate good food. The service is consistently reported as fast and friendly, with dishes arriving fresh and hot without excessive wait times.
For those who enjoy chicken feet, Kingdom Dim Sum comes highly recommended. One reviewer even stated that their chicken feet are among the best they've had in Los Angeles, potentially rivaling those found in the San Gabriel Valley (SGV), which is known for its high-quality dim sum. While the prices might be slightly higher compared to other places, the generous portions are considered worth the cost. Kingdom Dim Sum offers a convenient alternative for those in the Hollywood area who previously had to travel to SGV for excellent dim sum. If you're in the vicinity and looking for great crispy lemon chicken, flavorful fried rice, or top-notch chicken feet, Kingdom Dim Sum is a highly recommended destination. I go to King Dim Sum for lunch all the time and always leave seriously impressed. When I’m craving some good food, this place never disappoints. The crispy lemon chicken is on point—crispy, flavorful, and covered in a tangy, slightly sweet sauce that hits just right. The chicken stays crunchy even with the sauce, which is always a win. The fried rice is just as good. It has that perfect wok-fried flavor, not too oily but packed with just the right amount of seasoning and mix-ins. Every bite has a little bit of everything—fluffy rice, tender meat, and fresh veggies all coming together perfectly. The place itself has that classic dim sum joint vibe—casual, bustling, and full of people who know where to find good food. Service is fast and friendly, and my food comes out fresh and hot without a long wait. I’m always happy when I eat here. If you’re in the area and craving some great crispy lemon chicken and fried rice, King Dim Sum is the spot.
Kingdom Dim Sum did a great job for chicken feet. I can tell this is one of the best chicken feet I’ve had in LA. Their chicken feet can beat some dim sum restaurants in SGV tbh. Other dishes were good too but I definitely recommend chicken feet here if you’re craving for some good chicken feet. Prices are slightly higher than other places but portions are generous so I think it’s worth the price. I’m glad that I don’t have to drive an hour to SGV for dim sum anymore. Thanks again for your good food and service.
Ok food. Awful service. Weak AC on a hot morning. I was hopeful this place would be as good at its neighbor restaurant. A really sweet woman approached us as we entered. Great customer service on her part. That’s were it started. Next we got cold Chinese broccoli. I didn’t know it was a thing. I didn’t really like it. It gets worse. It was chopped and required the talents of an experienced chop stick user lol. I had a very hard time and my experience isn’t that bad. The dumplings were all good. The XLB was good but not the best. We had shrimp har how too. Good. They serve you water in paper coffee cups lol. When we were done we were going to get more XLBs so I waved at the server. She literally was looking at me and turned her head slowly - twice! I gave up. She came over a while later and asked if we wanted dessert! Ugh! No thanks! Free parking available in front or in underneath structure.
Great little place for Dum Sum. My partner and I stopped in for dinner after a long day. We were greeted immediately upon entering. The staff were very polite and friendly. The food is amazing. We ordered Chinese broccoli, glutinous rice with chicken, lemon fried chicken, sesame balls and coffee pudding. Everything was so darn good! It's some of the best I have had. This is going ylto be our new go to for Dim Sum. I wish I could give more stars.
I am Chinese and I think it's a great casual place to get authentic dim sum dishes! Ignore the fussy reviewers - of course it is not a formal restaurant so you cannot expect the full service/menu as such. I got the chinese broccoli - yes its a cold dish and it's delicious! Leek dumplings which were huge, perfectly steamed and full of leek and prawns. Finally the har cheong fan (which is my favourite dim sum food ever) was full of large, juicy prawns. Everything was fresh, delicious and generous. I found the service very friendly and fast.
