One reviewer noted that while nothing was "awful" or "great," the sesame tofu, jalapeño chicken, and hot and sour soup were the highlights of their order. They felt the lo mein lacked flavor but saw potential in it.
Another customer who visited on a Sunday night around closing time found the restaurant to offer excellent value for the price. They were impressed by the "huge portions," stating that a combo plate could easily feed two people. Their order included mushroom chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, an egg roll, a coke, and a side of hot sauce, all for $10. They described the food as "good" and "very filling," concluding that it was hard to ask for more at that price point. This customer recommended checking out King Wok Express for "quick inexpensive food."
As a Chinese takeout restaurant in Aurora, Colorado, King Wok Express appears to offer reasonably priced meals with generous portions, particularly the combo plates. While some dishes receive higher praise than others, it is generally considered a decent option for those seeking a quick and affordable Chinese meal.

The current 3.3 rating holds up. Nothing awful, nothing great, pretty much average all around, fair priced Chinese takeout. The sesame tofu, jalapeño chicken, and hot and sour soup were the winners of this order. The lo mein lacked flavor but there’s potential there…
Sunday night dinner stopped in around 7pm hour before closing. For the price I cannot complain. Huge portions the combo plate is enough to feed 2 people. I went with the mushroom chicken, orange chicken, fried rice egg roll a coke plus a side of hot sauce all for $10. Food was good very filling couldn't ask for more for the value. Check this place out for some quick inexpensive food.
This food is beyond terrible. Got combo 2 (sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, eggroll), hot and sour soup, chicken lo mein, pot stickers, and chicken fried rice. The sesame chicken is NOT chicken; it's some weird flavorless ball (like a meatball maybe) that even my dog spit out. There is no chicken or vegetables in the chicken fried rice. I don't even think it had any egg? Which is the reason I prefer fried rice. The egg roll was soggy and inedible. The potstickers were overcooked and soggy from being put in a little plastic baggy. The hot and sour soup was the most edible item I got. It wasn't overly flavorful, but not bad. I will definitely not be ordering from her again.
The food is typical Chinese but they do offer a few other items on their menu. My favorite being the green curry. Prices are decent. My only gripe is that the place is filthy. It begins at the door which is covered with dark grime from all hands of people entering and exiting. The windows look dirty, and it does not get much better when you get inside. I wish the owners would clean up the place so that it at least appears that they give a damn. I think cleaning up the appearance of the place with a new door, rebuild the little wall that forms the foye, fix the trim, and give it a nice coat of paint inside would really make it quite a bit more inviting and comfortable. I still buy from them but every time I start to open that door I second guess myself and say a little prayer to the E-coli gods. Please King Wok, just a little effort would go a long way.
Food is all very oily. The chicken dishes are consistently terrible: overcooked, tough, and stringy. My parents always go here though, so some people like it
