One customer, after seeing other reviews, felt compelled to share their positive experiences over multiple visits since June (without knowing the previous owner). They suggested that some negative reviews might be from customers who "miss the old owner dearly, specifically for the way he prepared food over the past 30 years" and are dissatisfied with any changes. During their recent visit, they ordered several dishes, rating the "shrimp wontons" as "outstanding, a definite 10/10." The "sweet and sour pork and the fish with mixed vegetables" both received a "solid 9/10," and the "fried calamari and shrimp toast were good too, scoring 8/10 each." They noted that their food arrived promptly around 3 pm and did not experience "excessive oil on the food" as mentioned in other complaints. They concluded that "Everything was delicious" and they "definitely plan to visit again."

However, another customer had a negative experience, stating, "It’s a shame, I really liked this place but I don’t think I could eat here again. My girlfriend found a hair and some sort of fly in her food. We both lost our appetite to say the least." They did acknowledge that "the hostess at the front desk was super nice and apologetic about it and gave us a refund for the meal" but expressed hope for "some better quality control for other peoples meals."

Based on these reviews, King's Palace Chinese Restaurant in Marlton, NJ, has received mixed feedback. One customer has had multiple positive experiences with delicious food, particularly praising the shrimp wontons, sweet and sour pork, fish with mixed vegetables, fried calamari, and shrimp toast, along with prompt service and no issues with excessive oil. They also suggest that some negative reviews may stem from dissatisfaction with changes after a new ownership. However, another customer reported finding a hair and a fly in their food, raising concerns about quality control, despite the hostess's apologetic response and refund. Local users should consider these contrasting experiences when deciding whether to dine at King's Palace.

Information about the environment is not provided in these reviews, focusing on the food and service. Services include dine-in and potentially takeout/delivery (as implied by the variety of dishes ordered). Features highlighted by a positive reviewer include outstanding shrimp wontons, very good sweet and sour pork and fish with mixed vegetables, good fried calamari and shrimp toast, and prompt service. A significant concern raised by another reviewer is a lack of quality control leading to foreign objects (hair and fly) in the food, despite the hostess's good service in resolving the issue. No specific promotional information is available in the provided text.

After seeing other reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience. I’ve visited this place multiple times since June and never knew the previous owner. In my opinion, I believe half of the negative reviews might be fake. Some seem to miss the old owner dearly, specifically for the way he prepared food over the past 30 years. Anything different isn’t satisfactory for them. During my recent visit last week, I ordered several dishes: the shrimp wontons were outstanding, a definite 10/10. The sweet and sour pork and the fish with mixed vegetables both rated a solid 9/10. The fried calamari and shrimp toast were good too, scoring 8/10 each. My family and I visited around 3 pm, and the food arrived promptly. I noticed some complaints about excessive oil on the food, but I didn’t experience that issue as you can see in my photos. Everything was delicious. We definitely plan to visit again.

It’s a shame, I really liked this place but I don’t think I could eat here again. My girlfriend found a hair and some sort of fly in her food. We both lost our appetite to say the least. Luckily the hostess at the front desk was super nice and apologetic about it and gave us a refund for the meal. Hopefully there’s some better quality control for other peoples meals.

My family and and have been ordering from this restaurant for years. Everything was delicious! The last two times the food has been going down hill. We just ordered food a few weeks ago and it was really bad! The egg roll, wonton soup, fried rice just was awful. No taste at all? The wontons very doughy. We spent over 50.00. We called the restaurant to give them a chance to rectify our issues with the food. All that was said was I am sorry. Unfortunately I won't be eating at this restaurant again. Debbie O
