King's Fried Rice operates as a Chinese eatery serving the community with a range of familiar and perhaps some unique Asian-inspired dishes. While the primary focus might be on their fried rice, typical Chinese restaurants in this category also offer other popular items such as noodle dishes, various meat and vegetable stir-fries, and local favorites. King's Fried Rice appears to be a place where one can find substantial and flavorful meals.

Based on the available customer reviews, King's Fried Rice has garnered attention for its food quality and generous portions, though it's also important to note the context of its location as described by one reviewer.

One customer provided a candid assessment of the neighborhood, stating, "Ion KNOW now this area is NOT THE BEST BUT, IF YOU GOT LIKE A CARRY AND CONCEAL LICENSE YOU GOOD." This suggests that the location might be perceived as being in a higher-crime area. However, this reviewer immediately pivots to the positive aspects of the food, emphatically stating, "THE FOOD IS WORTH IT AND ITS πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ I GOT CHICKEN WINGS A HUGE SPECIAL ST.PAUL WHITE RICE WITH BROCCOLI πŸ₯¦ AND VEGETABLES. IT WAS SMACKIN!" This enthusiastic description highlights the deliciousness and apparent quality of the food, with specific mentions of chicken wings, a "huge special" St. Paul sandwich, and white rice with broccoli and vegetables. The use of "SMACKIN!" is a strong indicator of the reviewer's satisfaction with the taste.

The same reviewer characterizes the overall experience as offering "GOOD FOOD AND A LIL HOOD ENVIRONMENT," suggesting that while the surroundings might be rough, the culinary offerings are a significant draw. This perspective implies that for those prioritizing taste and value, the location might be a secondary consideration.

Another customer focuses specifically on two dishes: the "jumbo Saint Paul's" and the "Shrimp fried rice DOUBLE shrimp 🦐." This indicates that these are likely popular or standout items on the menu. The reviewer's praise for the shrimp fried rice is particularly strong, stating, "They have the most perfectly cooked shrimp I ever had in my life that's saying a lot coming from me TRUST." This is a significant endorsement, suggesting a high level of expertise in preparing shrimp and fried rice, a staple of many Chinese restaurants. The request for "DOUBLE shrimp" also implies that generous portions of shrimp are available, or that customers have the option to customize their orders for an extra serving.

Considering these reviews, King's Fried Rice seems to be a local spot that prioritizes the quality and taste of its food. The enthusiasm in the reviews, particularly regarding the flavor and portion sizes, suggests that they have a loyal customer base who find the food to be exceptionally good, even if the neighborhood might be a concern for some. The mention of specific dishes like the St. Paul sandwich, chicken wings, and especially the shrimp fried rice indicates potential specialties of the house.

For local users in St. Louis looking for a Chinese restaurant that delivers on flavor and portion size, King's Fried Rice appears to be a strong contender, based on the positive food reviews. The "huge special" St. Paul sandwich and the "perfectly cooked shrimp" in the fried rice are notable highlights. However, potential customers should also be aware of the neighborhood context mentioned in one of the reviews.

The services offered likely include carry-out, given that customers are referencing ordering food. It's not explicitly mentioned whether dine-in is available, but it is a possibility for a traditional Chinese restaurant. To get a clearer picture of the dining environment and the full range of services offered, contacting them directly at (314) 534-3787 or +1 314-534-3787 would be beneficial.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. However, the emphasis on "huge" portions and the implication of good value ("THE FOOD IS WORTH IT") suggest that King's Fried Rice might offer competitive pricing for the amount and quality of food received.

In conclusion, King's Fried Rice at 3926 N Grand Blvd in St. Louis seems to be a Chinese restaurant that has won over customers with its delicious and generously portioned food, particularly the chicken wings, St. Paul sandwiches, and shrimp fried rice featuring "perfectly cooked shrimp." While one reviewer noted the surrounding neighborhood, the focus on the quality of the food suggests that it is a primary draw for patrons. If you are in St. Louis and looking for flavorful Chinese cuisine, especially if you have a craving for exceptional shrimp fried rice or a substantial St. Paul sandwich, King's Fried Rice might be worth a visit, keeping in mind the local environment as described by one customer.

In my opinion, King's is the best fried rice I've ever had in St. Louis MO. I usually get "beef" fried rice. And I've found that the best time to get the tastiest rice is Thu-Sat. Not sure why, but TO ME the rice tastes the best on those days. Call ahead (if you can) to place your order. Give them your name and ask for the total of your order.

The taste has really gone down. No matter how many packets of sauce you put in, it's just not the same any more. It's like the old cook passed and the new cook doesn't know the family secret recipe. The establishment has ALWAYS been filthy, but I've never seen a roach crawling around. But now that the taste has changed and the place is filthy, I think I'll find me someplace else. I grew up in St. Louis and I don't live there any more. The convenience of Kings being not too far from the highway has allowed my family to place an order and get back on the highway and eat our food on the drive and have plenty leftover by the time we get to our destination. Now I have to find another restaurant. What happened Kings? Even the crab rangoons are small, very little cream cheese and are like fried crackers. What happened?
