Food top notch. Hard to find better Chinese even if you were to travel to China. I would recommend this place any day of the week. I've never had a bad dish. My favorite would be the orange chicken. Good for families or even a quiet date night. What are you waiting for order now or be upset later that you've been sleeping on this fine establishment.

The food is okay as far as commercial Chinese food is concerned. If you are passionate about Asian food this is not the place for you. The worker was very friendly and made my food fast. The building is very small and run down. I had high hopes for the awards and high ratings; however, the food did not meet expectations. I ordered hot and spicy chicken and got more l of a General Tsos Chicken in a very abnormally thick sauce. Don't get me wrong the food was not bad, but the quality is lacking.

This is my second time here And the food is absolutely amazing. The first time I just got the cashew chicken with the egg and crab Raccoon. The second time I got the same thing, but I did half chicken and half orange chicken fantastic combination! If you’re coming through Springfield, Missouri Please stop at King’s Chef Kitchen you won’t regret it!

The restaurant is in an old tiny building that had a lot of glass windows, which allowed it to be very cold inside. It took longer than expected for our food to arrive but if they were cooking it fresh then that would be expected, especially if they were preparing other orders. I had the wonton soup that was very tasty with large pieces of broccoli that really added substance. My husband had the Hot and Sour soup and it wasn’t as good. It looked and tasted like egg drop with just some added chili peppers. It did not have the expected tofu, mushrooms, and other vegetables one normally expects . The Egg-rolls were better than most in town as they were moist, but still not freshly made on site. The fried dumplings were good. All in all , I would return to this restaurant as it was better than many others in our city and the staff were especially kind . I think this would be a perfect place to get carry out.
