About King Hong

Welcome to King Hong, a Chinese restaurant conveniently located at 1230 Anderson Avenue in Fort Lee, New Jersey. As a local Chinese eatery, King Hong offers a range of dishes for those seeking affordable and accessible Chinese cuisine in the area. While specific details about the restaurant's ambiance and services are limited based on the available reviews, we can glean insights into the value and quality of their food offerings.

One notable aspect highlighted in the customer feedback is the exceptional value, particularly concerning their lunch menu. One satisfied customer reported that their entire order, including tax and delivery fee, amounted to a remarkably low price of $10.33. This suggests that King Hong offers competitive pricing, especially for their lunch specials, making it an attractive option for those seeking an affordable meal. The same customer also praised the food, describing everything they ordered as delicious and tasting fresh, indicating a commitment to quality despite the budget-friendly prices. Their positive experience led them to conclude that King Hong is a worthwhile spot for Chinese food in the area.

In contrast, another customer review focused on a specific dish, the Shrimp Egg Foo Yung, expressing disappointment with its preparation. This customer, who was actively searching for a good rendition of this classic Chinese-American dish in the locality, reported that the Shrimp Egg Foo Yung they received from King Hong was charred. This feedback suggests a potential inconsistency in the preparation of certain dishes or perhaps an isolated incident. It highlights the importance for potential customers to consider that experiences can vary.

Based on the limited information, King Hong appears to be a Chinese restaurant that emphasizes affordability, especially through its lunch specials. The positive review regarding the freshness and taste of the food, coupled with the exceptional value, suggests that it can be a favorable option for budget-conscious diners. However, the negative feedback concerning the preparation of the Shrimp Egg Foo Yung indicates that quality might not be consistently high across all menu items.

Details regarding the environment of King Hong are not provided in the available reviews. Therefore, local users should be aware that information about the restaurant's ambiance, décor, or seating arrangements is currently unavailable. Similarly, specifics about the services offered, beyond takeout and delivery (implied by one review), are not mentioned. It is reasonable to assume that King Hong operates primarily as a takeout and delivery establishment, given the lack of commentary on the dine-in experience. However, those interested in dining at the location may want to contact the restaurant directly for information about seating availability and the overall dining environment.

Features of King Hong, based on the reviews, seem to include its affordability, particularly the value offered through its lunch specials. The potential for fresh-tasting food, as mentioned by one customer, could also be considered a positive feature. However, the inconsistency in food preparation, as indicated by the charred Shrimp Egg Foo Yung, is a point of concern. Without further information, it is difficult to ascertain any unique selling points or specialties of the restaurant beyond its price point.

No specific promotional information is available in the provided reviews. Local users interested in any special offers, discounts, or new menu items at King Hong are advised to contact the restaurant directly via phone at (201) 224-8807 or +1 201-224-8807, or potentially visit their location at 1230 Anderson Ave, Fort Lee, NJ 07024, to inquire about any current promotions or to view their complete menu.

In conclusion, King Hong in Fort Lee, NJ, appears to be a Chinese restaurant that offers affordable options, particularly its lunch specials, which some customers have found to be of good value and taste fresh. However, there are indications of potential inconsistencies in food preparation, as seen in the negative feedback about the Shrimp Egg Foo Yung. Information regarding the restaurant's environment and full range of services is limited. Local users seeking an inexpensive Chinese meal, especially during lunchtime, might find King Hong to be a viable option, but it would be prudent to consider the mixed reviews and potentially inquire further about specific dishes or dining preferences. As always, individual experiences may vary.

All this including tax and delivery fee was $10.33! Now that’s a deal! I ordered from the lunch menu right before the special ended. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. This is the spot!

This is our go-to chinese takeout place! The food is always fresh, delicious, and not overly expensive. Their lunch specials are awesome. Might be basic but the chicken, beef, and shrimp & broccoli are the BEST!

I was in the mood for Chinese and ordered my meal online for me and my clients. For myself I got the garlic shrimp. When I arrived I parked on the street in front. I walked in and they weren't quite done with the food. I waited a little while and when it was done, one of the ladies helped me to the car and I left. When I ate my meal it was pretty good and very filling. I had a good experience.

The worse Chinese food I have tried , the fried rice was tasteless , extra small chicken wings , the general Tso chicken was not good , very disappointed. Stay away from ordering food from this location .
