Located at 8137 Kings Hwy in King George, Virginia, 22485, USA, King George Chinese Restaurant serves the local community as a long-standing "Chinese Restaurant" offering a variety of familiar Chinese dishes. They can be contacted at (540) 775-5055 or their mobile number +1 540-775-5055 for inquiries or to place orders. Based on customer feedback, King George Chinese Restaurant presents itself as an establishment with a history in the community, having been open since 2008.

One recent customer highlighted the affordability of their dinner meal, noting it as the cheapest they had encountered from a Chinese restaurant in years, priced at "10 and change." They found the flavor of the food to be satisfactory. While they mentioned the absence of egg in the fried rice, they did not express significant dissatisfaction due to the low price point. This suggests that King George Chinese Restaurant offers budget-friendly options, which may be a significant draw for price-conscious local users. The same reviewer noted that the boneless spare ribs were "just a little dry" despite being coated in BBQ sauce, indicating a potential area for improvement in that particular dish. However, overall, this customer stated their intention to return, suggesting a positive overall impression, especially considering the value.

Another customer, who has been patronizing the restaurant since its opening in 2008, observed an increase in prices over time. They cited an example of a diet menu item with a soda costing approximately $18 for a single person. This review provides a longer-term perspective, acknowledging the restaurant's presence in the community but also pointing out a perceived shift in pricing. The reviewer also noted the existence of other Chinese restaurants in the wider Virginia area with both lower and higher prices, positioning King George Chinese Restaurant within a broader spectrum of pricing options.

As a "Chinese Restaurant," King George Chinese Restaurant offers a menu that includes standard Chinese fare, such as boneless spare ribs and fried rice. The mention of a "diet menu item" suggests that they may cater to customers with specific dietary preferences or needs. The fact that one customer has been a patron for over a decade indicates a degree of consistency and local appeal over time, despite the noted price increases. The restaurant likely serves as a convenient option for residents of King George and those passing through the area.

This is the cheapest dinner meal from a Chinese restaurant I've had in years only 10 and change. The flavor was good ,no egg in the rice but it was cheap so I'm not complaining. The boneless spare rids were just a little dry even coated with the special BBQ sauce all and all I'm coming back next time I'm near by

Been going here since it opened in 2008, Noticed prices have been going up. Bought a diet menu item with a 16.9oz soda, about $18 just for 1 person. There are other Chinese restaurants with lower and higher prices from here to any Virginia location.

Their food is always good. I've yet to have a problem. Portions are great. Just to be clear in respect to atmosphere, it's a walk in/ take out business, so sitting for a dinner is not really what they do.

Not the greatest or worse. Most of the negative reviews center on personality vs food. I found the staff curt but polite. As far as atmosphere, check the picture as there is none. Now lets get to the food. We ordered wonton soup, happy family, and chicken with cashews. The wonton soup had about 8 wontons for the quart. No scallions, pork or anything. The wontons were too doughy, broth passable but not great. There were a good amount of meats in the entrees but were a little tough and sauces not the most flavorful. I was being slightly generous with 3 stars and would really give it 2 1/2. Having recently moved to King George we thought we had to give the only Chinese place a try for ourselves. Prices were fair at $30 for the amount of food.

We just moved here and had a craving for Chinese food. We were skeptical because of the other reviews, but wanted to try. The food turned out very good and the people were very friendly. We loved that we could see the kitchen as our foods were being made. Will definitely come back.
