General Tso’s chicken barely had any chicken in it. 90% breading and overcooked. Don’t recommend
Food is pretty consistent. No complaints here.
Impressive — plentiful, fresh, decent ingredients, very well-packed for delivery — a good solid choice if you live nearby. The tofu and vegetable soup is surprisingly good — not just a clear broth with random vegetables. Although, I would bet that that's a chicken broth, i.e. not vegetarian. I actually preferred it this way and am glad for it. Anyway this is a 3.5-star review partly on this point. A vegetable soup should be edible by vegetarians, so assuming I'm right, they should label this soup accordingly on the menu. Or if they call me out and I'm wrong, and that was somehow really a vegetable broth, I'll amend this review up to 4 stars — but I doubt it. For a main dish I had the hunan spicy beef. Again, a solid and decent dish in a generous portion. I didn't like the hot spice, which was too strong and not nuanced. But that's on me — it was clearly said it was with a hot sauce. I just didn't think this dish held together quite as well. Ma had a shrimp with lobster sauce. She said it was terrific, although I see she left over 80% of the lobster sauce — and she loves lobster. So, I'm guessing that wasn't quite optimal either. Anyway you can likely be pleased if you get food from here.
