About King Chop Suey
King Chop Suey is a Chinese restaurant situated at 6224 W Florissant Ave in St. Louis, Missouri. As a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, King Chop Suey aims to serve a variety of Chinese dishes to the surrounding community. They can be contacted at (314) 381-8886 or via their mobile number +1 314-381-8886 for inquiries or to place orders for carry-out or potential dine-in service.
Operating as a Chinese restaurant, King Chop Suey likely offers a menu featuring popular Chinese-American cuisine, which typically includes a range of options such as fried rice, noodle dishes, various vegetable and meat preparations, and other familiar dishes often found in this category of eateries. These restaurants usually cater to individuals and families looking for convenient and flavorful meals, whether enjoyed on-site or taken away.
To provide a balanced and objective introduction, it is essential to consider the experiences shared by recent customers of King Chop Suey. Online reviews can offer valuable perspectives on aspects such as service efficiency, food quality, and the accuracy of order preparation.
One customer recounted a significantly negative experience regarding the service at King Chop Suey. According to this review, the restaurant's lobby completely emptied out before the customer received their food, despite having placed their order before many other patrons. This led the customer to feel that their time was not valued and expressed a sense of disrespect. Consequently, this individual stated their intention to avoid patronizing businesses that they perceive as treating customers poorly, even after receiving their money.
Adding to this negative service experience, the same reviewer reported a critical error in their food order. Specifically, they found chicken in their seafood fried rice. As a self-identified "pestcatarian" (likely intending to mean pescatarian, someone who eats seafood but not other meats), this contamination rendered their meal inedible, forcing them to throw it away. This indicates a potential issue with attention to detail in order preparation and a lack of adherence to dietary restrictions, which can be a serious concern for customers with specific dietary needs.
Another customer shared a similarly disappointing experience related to the food itself. This review questioned whether it had become the "new norm" for food to be prepared without expected ingredients such as vegetables and eggs. The context suggests that these items were anticipated as standard components of the dish ordered. Furthermore, this customer expressed frustration with the concept of being charged extra for additional ingredients, implying that even basic components might be lacking unless specifically requested and potentially paid for. The reviewer concluded by describing the food as "subpar" and stated that they would not be returning to King Chop Suey.
Considering these direct accounts from recent customers, it appears that King Chop Suey is facing significant challenges in both service efficiency and food preparation accuracy. The first review highlights a lack of consideration for customer waiting times and a critical error in fulfilling a dietary-restricted order, which resulted in the customer's inability to eat their meal. The second review points to potential inconsistencies in food preparation, with concerns raised about missing standard ingredients and the implication of additional charges for items that might typically be included.
These negative experiences suggest potential issues with kitchen procedures, order management, and overall customer service at King Chop Suey. For local users considering dining at this establishment, it is important to be aware of these recent reports. While every dining experience can vary, the issues raised by these customers are significant and could impact the satisfaction of future patrons.
Given the feedback, potential customers might want to exercise caution or seek clarification when placing their orders, particularly regarding dietary restrictions or the inclusion of standard ingredients. The reported delays in service also suggest that patience might be required if choosing to order from King Chop Suey.
It is worth noting that these reviews represent individual experiences and may not be universally representative of every customer interaction. However, they provide valuable insights into potential shortcomings at the restaurant. As an objective introduction based on the available online information, it is crucial to present these concerns to local users to help them make informed decisions.
King Chop Suey is located at 6224 W Florissant Ave, St. Louis, MO 63136, USA, and can be contacted at (314) 381-8886 or +1 314-381-8886. While it operates as a Chinese restaurant in the local area, recent customer feedback indicates potential issues with service speed, order accuracy, and food quality that prospective diners should consider.
Without additional positive feedback or information regarding improvements in service or food preparation, it is challenging to highlight specific features or promotional offers. The current online reviews primarily focus on negative aspects of the customer experience. Therefore, local users may want to weigh these concerns carefully when deciding whether to patronize King Chop Suey.

Customer Reviews
This place cleared their whole lobby before I received my food. Even tho I ordered before most of the people as if my time did not matter. This is very disrespectful. I will not patronize places that feel as if they can treat us any type of way and I still give them my money. In addition, they placed chicken in my seafood fried rice. I am a pestcatarian, so I had to throw my food away.
Is this the new norm to prepare food without the vegetables and egg. When you ask for extra anything that is assuming you are getting that in the first place without additional fees. SMH! Food subpar not returning!
The food was good the service was good the only thing I can say is they forgot to put the cheese on my fries and I did not get my one pack of sweet and sour sauce y'all give out two soy sauce and three hot peppers why not throw in a couple of sweet and sour sauce too anymore than that I can pay for it I will be returning
This place is bit of a drive and it was worth it. The chicken and shrimp fried rice was delicious although my shrimp was very soft and my husband said his was fine. We normally go across the street to John's but this will be our new got to for fried rice. We also had wonton and they were delicious too! I didn't go inside so I cannot comment. The person taking the orders was difficult to understand, my shrimp and there are only like 5 parking spaces which is why I gave a 4.
Great food but service is terrible at times. I pick this Chinese place before others. Get an exterminator!!!
