Welcome to King Chef, a Chinese restaurant situated at 4644 Capital Blvd in Raleigh, North Carolina (NC 27604), USA. As a Chinese restaurant serving the Raleigh community, King Chef aims to provide a variety of Chinese culinary options with a focus on efficient service. You can reach them at (919) 876-5859 or their mobile number +1 919-876-5859 for placing orders or inquiries.
While specific details about the dining environment at King Chef are not available from the provided information, Chinese restaurants typically offer a space for customers to dine in. The ambiance can vary, but often includes elements that reflect Chinese culture, aiming to create a comfortable setting for individuals and families to enjoy their meals. Whether you prefer to eat at the restaurant or take your food to go, King Chef likely provides a physical location where you can pick up your orders and possibly dine on-site. To get a better sense of their dine-in facilities, it might be helpful to contact them directly or visit their location.
Based on the available customer feedback, a key feature of King Chef appears to be their quick service, particularly for online orders. One reviewer mentioned a short wait time for picking up their order, suggesting efficiency in their takeout operations. This can be a significant advantage for customers looking for a fast and convenient meal option. Additionally, the same reviewer noted that the food was "very hot and fresh" upon arrival, indicating attention to maintaining food temperature and quality for takeout orders. This suggests that King Chef prioritizes ensuring that customers receive their food in optimal condition, even when it's enjoyed off-premises.
The limited reviews also provide some insight into the menu at King Chef. One customer specifically praised the "crab rangoons" as "delicious and crispy," and also enjoyed the "fried rice and beef w. Oyster sauce." This positive feedback highlights the quality of these particular dishes and suggests that King Chef may have specialties in these areas. Crab rangoons are a popular appetizer in American Chinese cuisine, known for their creamy filling and crispy wonton shell. Beef with oyster sauce is a classic stir-fry dish, often featuring tender beef and flavorful oyster sauce. The positive remarks about these items could indicate that King Chef excels in preparing these familiar favorites.
However, another review points out a potential area for improvement in their order-taking process. This customer advises others to "ask her to repeat your order back to you twice" if they speak with a particular woman on the phone, recounting an instance where they received chicken nuggets instead of wings. This feedback suggests a possible issue with order accuracy over the phone and highlights the importance of clear communication when placing an order. While this seems to be an isolated incident mentioned in the reviews, it is a point to be aware of when ordering from King Chef, especially via phone.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of King Chef's offerings, consider the following: When you contact them, inquire about their complete menu, including the variety of appetizers, main courses (such as beef, chicken, pork, and seafood dishes), rice and noodle options, and any vegetarian selections they might offer. Ask about the ingredients and preparation methods if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences. If you are considering dining in, you might want to ask about the restaurant's atmosphere and typical seating arrangements. For takeout or delivery (if available), confirm their service area, delivery fees, and estimated preparation times. It would also be beneficial to inquire about their online ordering process, if you plan to use it, to ensure a smooth and accurate transaction.
The provided information does not mention any specific promotional offers or discounts currently available at King Chef. However, many Chinese restaurants often have lunch specials, combination deals, or family-sized meals that offer better value. It would be worthwhile to check their website (if they have one), social media pages, or simply ask when you call if they are currently running any promotions or have any special offers for new or returning customers. These types of deals can be a great way to try a variety of dishes at a more affordable price.
In conclusion, King Chef is a Chinese restaurant located on Capital Blvd in Raleigh, NC, that appears to focus on providing quick and efficient service, particularly for takeout orders. Positive feedback highlights the freshness and quality of dishes like crab rangoons and beef with oyster sauce. However, one review suggests a potential issue with order accuracy over the phone, emphasizing the need for clear communication when placing orders. To get a complete picture of what King Chef has to offer, it is recommended to contact them directly to inquire about their full menu, dine-in options, delivery services (if any), and any current promotions. By considering the available feedback and gathering more details, local users can make an informed decision about whether King Chef meets their needs for Chinese cuisine in Raleigh.

If you get the woman on the phone, ask her to repeat your order back to you twice. Or you gonna end up with chicken nuggets instead of wings
