About King Buffet

Welcome to King Buffet, a Chinese Restaurant located at 105 Jefferson Davis Memorial Hwy, Louisville, GA 30434, USA. As a local Chinese eatery in Louisville, King Buffet offers a selection of Chinese-American dishes, primarily catering to takeout customers based on available feedback. While one reviewer found the food to be "decent," there are notable aspects regarding the restaurant's operations that potential customers should be aware of, including limitations on access, the visibility of the kitchen, and payment methods.

One of the most striking pieces of feedback from a customer is the unusual policy regarding access to the restaurant's interior. The reviewer stated, "I think it’s beyond strange that no one is allowed in AND you can’t see into the kitchen…. What’s there to hide?" This comment suggests that customers are not permitted to enter the premises beyond a certain point, possibly for order pickup only, and that the kitchen area is not visible to the public. This lack of transparency may raise questions for some customers about the food preparation environment and overall operations of the restaurant. While the reviewer found the food to be "decent," this operational aspect was clearly a significant concern.

Another customer shared a frustrating experience related to payment. After placing an order over the phone and arriving 20 minutes later to pick it up, they were informed by a staff member that "they don't take cards." The reviewer expressed their expectation that such crucial information, especially regarding payment methods, should be communicated to customers when the order is placed. This lack of clear communication resulted in inconvenience for the customer, who had presumably expected to pay with a credit or debit card upon arrival. This suggests that King Buffet operates on a cash-only basis, which is important for prospective customers to know before placing an order.

The limited information from these two reviews makes it challenging to provide a comprehensive description of the environment, services, and features of King Buffet. The first review's comment about not being allowed inside suggests that a traditional dine-in experience may not be available, or at least is severely restricted. The focus seems to be primarily on takeout service, where customers likely place their orders remotely (presumably by phone, as mentioned in the second review) and then pick them up at a designated area without entering the main part of the restaurant.

Given the lack of access to the interior and the inability to see the kitchen, it is impossible to describe the restaurant's ambiance, decor, or cleanliness based on the available reviews. Potential customers will not have the opportunity to assess these aspects before receiving their food. This unusual operational model sets King Buffet apart from typical Chinese restaurants where customers can usually enter, view the dining area, and sometimes even see into the kitchen.

The services offered by King Buffet appear to be primarily focused on takeout. Customers place orders by phone and then travel to the restaurant to collect them. The negative experience regarding the lack of communication about the cash-only policy highlights the importance of clear and complete information sharing when taking phone orders. It is unclear if King Buffet offers delivery services, as this was not mentioned in either review. The absence of dine-in access suggests that the seating area, if any, is not available to the general public.

Features of King Buffet that can be identified from the reviews include the fact that they serve Chinese food, with one customer finding it to be "decent." However, the lack of transparency regarding the kitchen and the cash-only payment policy are also notable characteristics that differentiate this establishment. The requirement to place orders remotely and the limited access to the premises define the customer interaction with King Buffet. The location at 105 Jefferson Davis Memorial Hwy in Louisville, GA, is the physical feature that allows local users to find and utilize their services.

Promotional information is not mentioned in the provided customer reviews. There is no indication of any special offers, discounts, or loyalty programs that King Buffet might have. Customers interested in learning about the menu, pricing, or any potential promotions should contact the restaurant directly at (478) 625-8885 or +1 478-625-8885. It would also be prudent to inquire about their payment policy and the procedure for order pickup when calling.

In conclusion, King Buffet in Louisville, GA, is a Chinese Restaurant that offers takeout service with food that one reviewer described as "decent." However, the restaurant operates with unusual restrictions on customer access, preventing entry beyond a certain point and obscuring the view into the kitchen. Additionally, they have a cash-only payment policy that customers should be aware of when placing their orders. For local users in Louisville looking for Chinese takeout, King Buffet is an option, but it is advisable to call ahead to confirm their menu, prices, payment methods, and pickup procedures due to the limited and somewhat concerning feedback regarding their operational transparency and payment policies.

Ordered my food on the phone and went to grab it 20 minutes later only to have the lady tell me that they don't take cards. You would think they would tell you on the phone

Visited for a quick lunch from the buffet between meetings. Certain items from the hot stations were cold as i sat to eat just after they were plated. Before i finished the items i felt comfortable eating, i became ill and ended up vomiting. I hope this experience was a fluke and not a standard of service. Please improve, food quality and temperature control is important as it directly affects the health of people. And the shameful part is the health inspector was there and gave a passing grade... As he ate a free meal.. Side eyes for that guy...

Food taste ok, it use to be better. Sometimes food does not taste fresh and taste like leftovers. I saw a. Worker scrape chicken off the counter top with the serving spoon and put it back in the dish.
