King Buffet

The lunch buffet is a good price. Might wanna catch them at the right time so the food hasn't sat for long. The staff is super nice. Visit steel rose forge for a Blacksmith class to burn the MSG off!!!!

This place has fallen off so bad, haven't had a good meal in the last 4 times I've tried. Chicken is always overcooked and this last time didn't relieve a specifically ordered sauce. I've eaten from this place for years and won't be coming back. Do better.

Food was very good as usual but has become pricier over the last 2 or 3 years as expected. They add a small surcharge for credit.

Looking for a place to break up with your insignificant other? Roped into an undesired date? Like chewing on rubber balls and rocks? Then this place is for you! I didn't know you could make chicken that tough, but they even managed to ruin the sweet and sour chicken bites that anywhere else would be like biting into a cloud. It has a lovely setting inside with a lot of space and randomly selected music tracts that they probably found at a thrift store, but if you want to experience utter disappointment in a culinary setting and ruin your whole evening, dine here. The other food was mediocre as expected for a buffet and often cold and mushy, but the price was higher than average for a buffet and I understand why it's usually empty because no one should have to pay to eat that. School food is better than that! I'll be sure to go out of my way to the one in Imlay or Flint when I want edible food. I've given this place a few chances, but it seems worse every time I go.

The food is always really good here. The place is fairly clean. The service is direct and prompt. The portions are large, delicious and fresh when ordered off the menu. The buffet is really good but is currently not in order due to Covid restrictions. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is simply because I watch the service remove plates and cups from tables, not wash their hands, and then service other guests. While this has always been something I've disliked, with Covid being a factor I feel it is neccessary they wash more. On the other hand, it is still my choice to go or not go out to eat. I figured I'd write why I chose not to give a full 5 star review.
