They also noted that the portion of rice in combo meals was smaller compared to other establishments and felt the restaurant was stingy with low-cost items.

Conversely, another customer described King Bowl as an "unexpected quaint spot" on Sunset Boulevard with a very welcoming staff and an amazing location featuring old booths. They enjoyed the fried rice and found the prices to be really reasonable, with "HUGE" portions. Based on the reviews, their menu includes items like fried rice, orange chicken, and broccoli beef, as well as combo meals featuring chicken. A notable feature mentioned is the "old booths," suggesting a retro or vintage aesthetic in the dining area, contributing to a unique atmosphere that some customers find appealing. The welcoming staff also adds to the positive aspects of the dining experience for some.

While one review mentions large portions and reasonable prices, indicating good value, another suggests potential inconsistency in food quality and portioning of side items in combos. No specific promotional information or details about services like takeout or delivery are provided in these reviews. However, the mention of "old booths" implies that dine-in service is available.

In summary, King Bowl on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles is a Chinese Restaurant that offers a unique, quaint atmosphere with welcoming staff and large portions at reasonable prices. However, feedback on the food quality is mixed, with some finding it bland and others enjoying specific dishes like the fried rice. The food is bland. Plus I expect my chicken to be crispy. Other places fill your box up with at least some extra rice if you get combo “A”. Not to mention loading you up with the protein. Nothing bugs me more than places being stingy with their lowest cost items.

An unexpected quaint spot son sunset. Very welcoming staff an amazing location with its old booths. I liked the fried rice, but the orange chicken and broccoli beef was not it for me. Prices are really reasonable. And HUGE portions. But I won’t lie, I came for the vibe more so and it did not disappoint!

Food was ok at best, chow mien didn’t have flavor, rice had a strange flavor and the meat from the broccoli and beef was a little rubbery. The inside had an old 80’s style. They have a sign that no bathroom due to drainage problems and if you want hot sauce, they let you put it on your food from the bottom at the counter only.

The guys here are tasty, the portion size are big. You need to try their BBQ pork and BBQ chicken. My favorite. Taste very good. You won't be disappointed.
