Another customer who ordered takeout reported receiving a container of sweet and sour chicken that was less than half full, and the chicken itself was cold and soggy. This customer also stated that the rest of the food was subpar and not worth the total cost of $50. They also described the phone interaction with the restaurant as rude and indicated they would not recommend Kim's Garden.

Furthermore, this customer updated their review to mention that the restaurant had blocked their phone number, a detail also reported by other reviewers elsewhere online. These recent experiences suggest potential issues with food quality, portion sizes, and customer service at Kim's Garden. The flavor was great, but the meat to veggie ratio was definitely off. We ordered the beef and cashew dish and were surprised at how little meat there was in the to-go container.

Ordered takeout, got home and our container of sweet and sour chicken was less than half full. And the chicken we did get was cold and soggy. I called and was offered to be refunded for the $3 difference between the small and large size. It was wildly inconvenient for us to not have enough food to feed our family. Would have been nice to get refunded for the amount of the chicken ($13). Not only that, but the lady on the phone was rude. The rest of the food was subpar, definitely not worth the $50 we spent. Would not recommend. Update- like many others have reported, they blocked my number. These people need a lesson on customer service.

First time here and Kim's Garden lives up to the name! Ordered Kung Pao chicken and ended up with hardly any chicken and a whole garden of veggies for filler. And not even good stuff.. Like a whole onion and bamboo shoots. Absolutely ridiculous. Wife ordered sesame chicken and they forgot the sesame seeds.. Or maybe that's extra? Definitely will not be returning for the $45 we paid for a shit meal. Go to Chen's Kitchen in Mukwonago for real Chinese food.

Hard to describe how disappointed I am after nearly 30 years of going here. I took this to share with my girlfriend and was embarassed, trying to explain that it used to be so good, when in fact what was before us was chewy, dry disappointment wrapped in wontons. The crab rangoon (normally the best I've ever had anywhere) had approx. 1/4 tsp of filling... I AM NOT EXAGERATING. Sesame chicken was thin strips over cooked and chewy like leather. I don't know what happened to the quality of this family run establishment, but please fix it. I have been a loyal customer for decades and this saddens me, truly. Please bring back the Kim's Garden I remember, because this was horrible.

A little disappointed that I drove 20 minutes to find out they're only open for takeout for lunch. The lady taking ordes and cooking was super friendly. Waited 20 minutes for my food. Pan fried noodles, fried rice, egg foo young and egg rolls were all great. Will be back at for dinner so I can dine in.
