About Kim’s Chinese Kitchen
Kim’s Chinese Kitchen, located at 3015 E Thomas Rd #7 in Phoenix, is a Chinese restaurant that primarily offers takeout service. Recent customer reviews provide insights into their food and service quality.
One customer enthusiastically declared their fried rice to be the best they have ever tasted and highly recommended it. This reviewer also praised the excellent service, suggesting that older reviews may no longer be relevant.
Another customer shared a more detailed experience. They loved the lo mein and fried rice and noted a quick 15-minute wait time for their order, which totaled $23 for their family. While they found the Kung Pao Cabbage to be just okay (it was their first time trying it and described it as vegetables with a soy-based special sauce), their husband found the egg drop flower soup to be too sour. Despite these mixed opinions on specific dishes, this customer indicated they would return to try other items on the menu.
Based on recent feedback, Kim’s Chinese Kitchen appears to be a reliable option for Chinese takeout in Phoenix, particularly noted for its highly praised fried rice and good service. While individual preferences for certain dishes may vary, the overall experience seems positive for many customers. For orders or inquiries, you can contact them at (602) 224-5439 or +1 602-224-5439.

The best fried rice I've ever tried, highly recommended. Excellent service, the old reviews are completely irrelevant. It may not be the best place, but it's clear that the place offers a takeout service.
Loved everything! Except the egg drop flower soup was a bit too sour for my husband's liking and my Kung po Cabbage order was okay never had it before it's just vegetables with some type of soy special sauce it's okay 👍👌 loved the lo mein and fried rice , order was 15 min wait, cost total was 23 dollars for my family , I would come again and try something different 🙂
So we took a chance because the reviews were seemingly high. But we were sorely disappointed all around. To start, it is fair to say that we have high hopes for Chinese food, as we’ve grown up with authentic Chinese food (no egg rolls are not authentic Chinese food for those wondering). But sadly, finding such food is hard in recent years. Even finding decent Americanized Chinese food is difficult at best. That said, let’s talk about what this place did well… Pros - they were very friendly and service was relatively quick. Cons - the cleanliness of the place was sorely lacking. It was so bad that the sides of the card reader were black. Next, we ordered a few things. Egg friend rice, sweet and sour soup, egg drop soup, crab ragoons and fried shrimp. Needless to say the shrimp has a pound of oil and is over fried (see pic). So much so, that when I tried to eat one. It made me queasy. The crab ragoons were lukewarm. Lastly, the egg drop/flower soup was gelatinous (see pic) with very little flavor, almost no egg or vegetables. In fact, we’re not even sure how or why it was so gelatinous. Needless to say, we gave them two stars for the kindness of the staff, and the fact that my kid liked the egg fried rice. But sadly, we’re now grabbing food from elsewhere, cuz what we got was just not edible for the most part.
You go if you know. Good is authentic and simple rice and noodle dishes. Crab Rangoon is just incredible. I’m a huge Chinese food fan originally from New England where places like Kim’s are everywhere. No other place like it in the valley.
We just ordered from here for the first time and will definitely be back! We ordered egg foo young with shrimp, egg fried rice, shrimp and broccoli and orange chicken. The sauce on the orange chicken is a bit different than we expected but everything was delicious! The sauce is also packed separately so it doesn't get soggy. This is a pick up or delivery only place, but service is fast! They were very thankful for my order and friendly!
