A hidden gem for skewers—and the fried rice will surprise you! Ke Chuan Jiang Hu is very, very, very delicious—every skewer is packed with flavor, and the spice is just right. But the real surprise? The fried rice. It looks simple, but the flavors are just incredible—there’s a kind of simple but amazing magic in every bite. They cook fast, so you won’t be waiting long for your food—unless you come during peak hours, when there might be a longer wait. One of the best Chinese BBQ in town! Cool for everyone who loves BBQ. Recommend dishes "Guo Bao Rou"! Even better than I had in China. The best BBQ is Chicken stomach 烤鸡胗 and lamb with random fat&lean 自然肥瘦.
It is an authentic Chinese restaurant. Everything was in Chinese style from the atmosphere to servers, so I had a high expectation of their food. However, their food disappointed me. We tried several kebabs and most of them tasted mediocre. The first one in the menu, bbq lamb, was the best. The duck blood in aluminum foil looked great and a lot in the menu picture, but the real size was small and bland. The service was a little slow and the chairs were really stiff to sit on. The dishes were also pricey.
There food is pretty good ,but there service is not great and the most important thing atmosphere is way longer than we thought , If you are in hurry just simply pass this store , I’ve called ahead and ordered food they say will takes about 30mins BUT… When I get there after then I have to wait another 30mins to get my food, not sure they forget to prepare my food or there’s something takes time but they made me paid first after that even I told them I’m in hurry they keep saying wait for a bit more , I was regular here at least visit every two month but I have to reconsider will keep using here or not .
A good sign of an authentic Chinese restaurant is that the restaurant is packed by Chinese, and this is definitely the place. I went to this place for the first time on a Thursday afternoon, and by 6 pm this place was packed. I only ordered kabobs and they are awesome, the quality of the meat, the seasoning, and the time it was cooked all added up perfectly. The food just tastes like what I had in China growing up, it brought up so much good memories. The restaurant is very clean and it has a lot of personal space, it’s better than the typical “hole in the wall” type of authentic Chinese restaurants. The waitress was also great, she filled water in my cup quite a few times and always came and check on me. The food was served very quickly, maybe in 10 minutes the order was placed. I spent $30 on my meal, it is not very cheap for Chinese food but it’s just such a wonderful experience. The lamb kabob, beef tripe, and vegetable rolled in pressed tofu are my favorite. I ordered some more tofu rolls for to go and they taste great the next day. They are a little spicy but I’m sure the level can be adjusted. By the way their fatty beef (#5 on the manual) is so tiny! Look at the picture I posted, all the pieces on the skewer is smaller than my thumb nail. I think they can’t make it smaller because the meat will just fall off if they did. Though it’s 10 pieces in one order, one piece is roughly 89 cents, the meat you can get from it is just so little and I don’t think it really worthwhile. The flavor is good but just the quantity is too little to be satisfying. The special lamb #4 was a much better size.
