Delicious canto food for affordable price. The portion was smaller than I expected for the lunch combos. But the portions for the fried wings were huge. The meats were cooked very nicely and was not dry at all. The roasted pork was flavorful and juicy and not dry. Overall very tasty place with affordable prices.

I’ve been missing toast pork from Kau Kau for 10 plus years!!!! lol I used to come here when I lived close by. I visited it again and the old gentleman is still working there. I ordered BBQ combo, Singapore Mei fen, dry noodles with beef, fried chicken wings and stir fry green beans. We loved roast pork so much that i ordered two more pounds to go. Other dishes were average. It wasn’t too crowded as it was late afternoon. The waitress was very friendly. We enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend roast pork when you visit.
I highly recommend this restaurant. The portions were huge! I ordered the roasted duck and BBQ pork, and they were so delicious and flavorful. Be sure to stop by if you visit Chinatown in Seattle. The prices were also very reasonable, and the lunch specials were a great deal.
It's been yeeeaaarrrsss since I've sat in Kau Kau to eat. Usually we just place an order to go. Side note: as begin my review my mouth is already watering. Last night my hubby and I decided to sit down and enjoy our dinner fresh. We were very surprised to see only one other family in the restaurant, but it was kind of nice not having to compete with a room full of voices (if you've ever been in a authentic Chinese restaurant you know what I mean. We were obviously immediately greeted and seated with a smile and left to browse the menus. Of course with it just being the two of us we were pleased to see that they offered a combination meat dish. It just didn't have roasted duck so at first we decided to order an additional quarter duck until we saw the duck fried rice. Being that they weren't busy our order arrived quickly. The combo meat dish was AMAZING!!! Being that this is what they're known for and what we usually order to go we weren't really surprised. It came with a side of dipping sauces of which I did not touch as there was no need to. Seriously soooo good!!! Soon after arrived our Roasted Duck Fried Rice as well as our Seafood Mun Noodles. Both were OK. Not bad but nothing I'd crave. They were both very oily. Understandable with the roasted duck fried rice as duck is extremely oily, but both dishes were lacking the flavor that the meat was not. We both decided that next time (if we decide to sit in again) we would just order a double order of the combo meat dish and a steamed veggie like Chinese Brocoli and just have plain rice. Nevertheless it was a good meal, good atmosphere and our tummies were full. Geez... Kinda craving the combo meat dish now. Lol.
