Kani House - Cumming

Kano House in Cumming, Georgia, offers a good ambience and service, but the food quality could use some improvement. During our visit, we had hibachi, and unfortunately, the vegetables were burnt, and the chicken was overcooked. We also tried sushi, which was decent but not exceptional. While the overall dining experience was pleasant due to the atmosphere and service, the quality of the hibachi needs attention.

The food was good, but was totally disappointed with the service we received. The server who was appointed for us was in such a rush, he did not even take the complete order. Always missed atleast one of the orders. We did order rose tea at the start of the dinner and only got to know that it was unavailable at the end of the meal. Overall a disappointing experience.

Fantastic staff, food well above average. Several birthday parties and lots of excitement at those tables. We tried a bit of everything, shumai, crab stick sushi, salmon sashimi, shrimp and scallop hibachi dishes.

We had Hibachi food and really liked it. The fried rice was really tasty in hibachi style but the regular fried rice we ordered separately was very average by taste. We ordered a chicken and Salman combo which includes soup, salad and ice cream along with fried rice hoping it would be sufficient for two people but the Rice wasn't sufficient (You can order extra fried rice in Hibachi style though which we didn't know and ordered regular style fried rice later). Note that they use same utensils, stove and everything for both veg and non-veg in Hibachi style(includes beef, chicken, sea food etc)

Service was rough, but he may have had too many tables or was new. 🤷🏾‍♂️ The food was delicious!!!! We definitely had a tasty experience and Highly Recommend The "Tokyo Roll" The flavors are fantastic!! 🤤 Also, the vegetable tempera is delicious!! We will definitely return! ☆☆☆☆☆
