Kambo Kitchen

This was our first time at this local Chinese place. We got the chicken and broccoli, and shrimp lo mein and they tasted… okay. I don’t know how to explain it. It all looked good but it all tasted… the same? And the egg rolls tasted like the wrapper and nothing else. The service was pretty fast (we walked in and gave our order) and the girl at the front was really friendly. I just didn’t get those satisfying Chinese fast food flavors.

On 12/5/2024 my wife ordered us dinner. When it arrived it was only luke warm, it was not hot. The chicken was so dried out and hard it was not enjoyable to try and eat. My wife called and the women who answered the phone said she would have her manager call asap. It's now the evening of 12/7/2024 and we still have not heard anything from them. We're taking our business elsewhere and I highly suggest others do as well. This place has gone down hill over the last 2 years. There are many better places elsewhere. Worst customer service I've encountered in quite some time

I ordered the chow mein meal. Looks nothing like the photo on the ordering app. Was a gelatinous mess. Chicken is just rubber. Couldn’t eat any of it. Went back and they said the door dash picture was wrong and that it was a picture of the lo mein. They offered to give me lo mein instead which was better.

Has gone down hill. Service meh, taste is not right. Chicken on a stick the smallest portion ever! Been coming here since I was a kid. The delivery driver with the white hair is a great guy though. The only stars here are for him. Extremely friendly! Update: I'll never learn. Got the chicken and broccoli tonight. It is absolutely disgusting. It tastes like there might be bleach in it too and the chicken is so covered in slime...I guess it's cornstarch that there's barely any chicken underneath or I'm eating chicken fat covered in cornstarch. Then the sauce is also mostly cornstarch. There's nothing to pour on my food because it was all sticky and stuck together. So disgusting. I have to remember to go to Evergreen. They're more expensive but at least it tastes better. Oh and by the way, when a customer is in front of you paying for their food, get off the phone and start speaking to me instead of speaking to someone else in another language with your earbuds.

The food here is great. I don't understand the low score. Maybe back in the day it was bad but we have had great experiences here since living in the area. Felt compelled to write them a positive review to help get there score where they deserve. Def the best spot in the area. Bummer others have had bad experiences but in a half dozen orders here it has always been on point. Normally get General Tso, Lo Mein, Egg Drop soup and maybe egg rolls or Rangoon.
