Based on recent customer feedback, the service at Kam Lun Chinese Restaurant has been noted as "welcoming and prompt," suggesting that guests can expect a friendly and efficient initial interaction with the staff. This positive aspect of the service can contribute significantly to a pleasant dining experience.

However, another customer pointed out that the "overall cleanness and odor of the facility was not fresh." This is an important consideration for potential diners, as the cleanliness and atmosphere of a restaurant play a crucial role in the overall dining experience. While one aspect of the service was commendable, this feedback indicates a potential area for improvement regarding the restaurant's environment.

In terms of the food itself, customer reviews present a mixed perspective. One diner highlighted the seafood soup, describing it as "quite a big bowl," which could suggest a generous portion size for this particular dish and enjoyment of its flavor. This positive feedback indicates that some items on the menu are well-received.

Conversely, the same reviewer found the Mongolian beef to be "tasteless," indicating a potential lack of flavor in this dish. This suggests that the quality and taste of different menu items might vary. On a more positive note, they mentioned that the dumplings were "good," suggesting that this appetizer is a worthwhile option for diners.

Another customer provided a more concise review, stating that the "food was good" overall. They also commented on the "reasonable price" and the "pretty quick" service. This feedback paints a picture of a restaurant that offers affordable and relatively fast service, with generally satisfactory food quality. The food was so bad. Lacking good flavor or freshness. Very greasy. To the point of being inedible. My husband ordered the broccoli and beef and it didnt even resemble or taste like beef. Were convinced we probably had cat for the first time yesterday lol. The restaurant itself is entirely lacking atmosphere. No music, exposed wires, cracked tile, etc. In an already rough neighborhood. Would not recommend and will not be returning.

The most horrible Chinese food I ever had in my life. I recommend that anybody don't go there. I spent $82 to feed my family for some bull crap. I wish I could go back and get my money. I could have got some pizza instead. When I went there wasn't nobody there, place was dirty I should have just walked out but but I really wanted some Chinese food. Where's the best Chinese food spot out in desert Hot springs. Because China Express didn't even have enough portions.

I used to come here all the time as a kid. The establishment is filthy, the food has no flavor and lacks ingredients. My fried shrimp had fabric string of some sort fried into it and when I showed the owner she just said "Oh" took it away and didn't apologize, offer a discount or replacement at all. Smh... what a joke. This place SUCKS!!!!!!! Do NOT waste your money. Three of us went and cost us $74. I'd rather get Panda Ex.
