About Kam Luang Kitchen

Kam Luang Kitchen is a Chinese restaurant located at 3391 NJ-27, Franklin Park, NJ 08823, USA. They can be contacted at (732) 297-8868 or +1 732-297-8868 for inquiries or to place orders.

Recent customer reviews offer mixed perspectives on Kam Luang Kitchen. One customer reported a positive experience with the Singapore noodles, noting that they were cooked quickly, contained a generous amount of vegetables (bamboo shoot, cabbage, peppers), and had the desired level of spiciness. This customer also found the staff to be friendly, although there was some uncertainty about whether an extra charge for shrimp resulted in a noticeably larger portion.

However, another customer had a significantly negative experience. This review described the chicken as mushy with a bad taste, the sauce as poor, and the chicken quality as low. Additionally, the broccoli was reported as overcooked, and the egg rolls were described as mushy and wet inside with an off flavor. This customer strongly advised against dining at Kam Luang Kitchen, stating that the food was inedible and not worth the money spent.

Based on these recent reviews, it appears that experiences at Kam Luang Kitchen can vary. While one customer enjoyed a specific dish and found the service friendly, another reported significant issues with the quality of multiple dishes. Local users may want to consider these differing opinions when deciding whether to dine at Kam Luang Kitchen.

I thought the food I got was really good. It was very greasy, but that's how I like my Singapore noodles. It was actually spicy when I ordered it spicy. There were a lot of vegetables in the noodles including bamboo shoot, cabbage, peppers, and the meat. I don't know if I actually got extra shrimp in it for the extra $2 because it seemed like a normal amount of shrimp. I guess that's just how restaurants are these days. They cooked it up super quickly. I ordered right when they opened. The people working there seem really nice.

The chicken was mushy and tasted like bad. Sauce wasn't good. Quality of chicken wasn't good. Broccoli was overcooked. Egg rolls were mushy and wet inside, flavor was off. I spent way too much money here for food I'm not even touching. Don't go here. Find a different Chinese place.

The food was disgusting. The egg roll was cold and dry. The lo mein was overcooked and soggy with no taste at all. The shrimp dish was also disgusting and the pork fried rice had no pork, onions or anything else in it. It was just plain rice. What a waste of money I threw everything in the garbage. Years ago their food was delicious but I don't know what happened to that place. It's also kind of dirty in the front area. Will never go there again. Worst Chinese food I ever had, seriously!

Just OK. The Spring vegetable roll was good, but it was small and there was only one (many places put 2 in an order) The Wonton soup was OK, though a bit oily. The Chicken Lo Mein was OK, the chicken was not of great quality, and again, everything was a little oily. The biggest disappointment was the General Tso's Chicken. We ordered it mild because this was our first time ordering from this restaurant, and some places are serious about spice. I needn't have worried. This was pretty devoid of flavor except the base sauce was sweet. My friend mistook it for Orange Chicken. The pieces of chicken were quite small - tough they were masked by quite a LOT of breading - and the chicken itself was chewy. We are still on the hunt for a really good place for Chinese food in the area. Our go-to is YaYa Noodles, but they are currently closed for renovations.

Ruined my Mother’s Day dinner today May 14, 2023. We spent $100 for terrible food. The food was very greasy. Did not seem fresh. Menu items were also misrepresented. Will never go back there or ever recommend to anyone.
