Kaleyard may offer a significant selection of vegetarian and vegan options, recognizing the growing interest in plant-based diets. These dishes might go beyond the standard vegetable stir-fries found in many Chinese restaurants, featuring creative and flavorful preparations that utilize a variety of fresh vegetables, tofu, and plant-based proteins. The menu could clearly indicate vegetarian and vegan choices, making it easier for diners with these preferences to find suitable options.

Another potential feature of Kaleyard could be a focus on transparency regarding ingredients and preparation methods. The restaurant might highlight its sourcing practices or provide nutritional information for its dishes, empowering customers to make informed choices about what they eat. Very bummed out with everything! Disgusting and a waste of $80 bucks. I was actually afraid keep eating it because it looks questionable in quality. I sadly had to throw it out. I was really craving Chop Suey and Egg Foo Young for New Year’s because it reminded me of my dad. We used to eat Chinese food together, and I thought it would be a nice way to honor those memories. Unfortunately, this experience was a huge letdown. The Egg Foo Young was more like scrambled eggs and a watery soy sauce and the Chop Suey barely had any vegetables—and the ones that were there were old, soggy, and brown. The brown sauce tasted like nothing more than soy sauce and salt, which wasn’t appetizing at all. To make matters worse, I found hard pieces in the food that almost broke my tooth. The spring rolls arrived soggy but were okay after baking them to crisp them up. Overall, the quality didn’t match the $80 I spent. It left me wondering if this restaurant is going out of business because the care and quality just weren’t there. Next time, I’ll stick with China Moon or Asian Kitchen in Laguna Niguel, they’ve never disappointed me. This is the Response from the owner 38 minutes ago lol We didn’t sell any house special egg foo Young today ( New Year Eve). My DoorDash says I paid for chicken egg foo young. You should be ashamed of yourself for lying. See the receipt and all the money I side on your disgusting food and customer service.

Unexpected great food, very unassuming place. They don’t serve alcohol, but we got a beer at Ambers to go and enjoyed it with our meal. They didn’t have music playing but since we were the only ones there at the time, we played our own. Hot and sour soup and Szechuan Beef were 👌👌👌

I don't know what happened. 4.6 stars, this place seemed like a good gamble. Unfortunately it was not. I was excited and ordered $80+ of things and nothing was good except for the vegetable egg rolls - they were ok. But the orange chicken was re-heated i think or overly cooked, the kung pao beef was one of the worst I've ever tasted and that's usually my go-to, then we tried the chicken with Chinese peas and it literally tasted like it was sitting on gravy. The wonton w/ creamcheese was the weirdest shape I've ever seen and they were very stale too. This place was completely empty when we arrived and the Mexican restaurant next door was booming, so I should have went with my gut. I wanted to call the next day and ask for a refund, but I know that was a headache I didn't want to go through.

The best local Chinese food. This has been a staple in our house since we moved here 8+ years ago. Everything is great. We love the wonton soup. The Singapore noodles are fantastic. Delicious chicken egg rolls. Chow mein, yum! I've never had a bad meal here. We usually get delivery and it is delivered HOT! We've also eaten there, service was great and again food was tasty.
