Kacha Thai Market in Royal Oak is a fantastic spot for vegan Thai food! Their Thai Basil Fried Rice was flavorful and well-spiced, and the Green Curry (Kaeng Kiew Wan) was incredibly creamy and delicious—one of the best I’ve had. The menu has plenty of great options, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. Parking is available street-side (paid) or in the nearby parking structure, where the first two hours are free. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving amazing vegan-friendly Thai cuisine!

Wonderful family run restaurant with authentic food and flavor in the heart of Royal Oak. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Good portion dishes with very reasonable prices.

This is the best restaurant I have ever been to. I stumbled into here today with my friend and we LOVED it. You must try the Wonton Soup!!! It is phenomenal! The fried chicken as an appetizer was perfectly cooked. I don’t know how they made it so flavorful and flaky. The Thai fried rice with chicken and the shrimp pad Thai was also fantastic. The service was lovely as well - could not have been better. The portions are huge and it’s VERY reasonably priced. I really can’t wait to come back here with more friends and my family when they visit. Absolutely worth checking out even if you don’t live in the Royal Oak area. I’m blown away and so happy to know that I have leftovers from this amazing meal. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Finally a great authentic tasting Thai restaurant in royal oak. This was our first time dining in. Was excited to have in person since it’s the only place I’ve found that wraps the pad thai in omelette (like in the night markets). Along with crab Rangoon and crispy pork cracklings, we ordered laab gai and shrimp pad Thai medium spice. Our entrees were outstanding but the appetizers were just ok. I Absolutely love the strong flavors of tamarind, fish sauce and spice in their pad Thai - it wasn’t watered it down or oily like some of the other places I’ve had in area. I also enjoyed the large drinks offerings - I had the yummy butterfly pea lemonade. The place was bright but cozy, with very friendly staff/quick service. We chatted with our server about visiting the islands and recommendations of things to try. Definitely worth another visit.

Amazing authentic food. People were friendly and it was a bright and busy place. Food was delicious and had good portions.
