Joy Luck Restaurant

I have driven past this establishment way to many times. This time we stopped for lunch. We were not disappointed, our young man server was one of the best we have ever had (side note, never judge a book by its cover) he was polite, kind. and very attentive. He did not write down our order, but arrived exactly as we asked for, this is a rarity. At the end of our meal, he also made sure we left with a full to go cup refill of our drinks, a very nice touch and a very old school customer service mindset of always give the customer more than they expect. 👏👏👏. The food was very tasty too. I had the mango chicken with the ham fried rice, cheese wonton, and a salad. The only critique I have is the chicken could have been more mois, they simply fried it to long in very hot oil but the flavors we excellent not to sweet and the mangos were ripe and yummy (could have put more on the plate 😇). My wife had the teriyaki chicken, ham fried rice, cheese wonton, and egg drop soup, all of it was yummy. I highly recommend this eatery, and won't be passing it by as much. Happy eating ☺️

Normally when we eat here we have nothing bad to say. Today we ordered some orange chicken and walnut chicken through DoorDash. The last time we did this everything was fine, but this time, nothing really seemed fresh, and instead of walnut chicken we received walnut shrimp. We spent 18 dollars each on these entrees, just for me to not be able to eat one of them. We also never received our fortune cookies.

It was my first visit and what a great place. Our server, Mario, was attentive and answered our many questions about the excellent menu. It's hard to find a really good Chinese Restaurant and totally found one today. We selected Egg Rolls, Fried Prawns, Creamy Egg Drop Soup, The Happy Family, The Duck, Fried Rice and Yakisoba. All just soo delish! One small mention about The Duck...the flavor and special sauce are most tasty, but it was just a bit dry. PS...very generous portion sizes.

My 14 yr old and I love to come before 4pm for the lunch prices. Brandon is the best and we love every dish. YUM! We keep returning!

Wow! 5/5 great traditional Chinese menu in Sandy. Stopped in for the first time, tried the beef and broccoli, spicy chicken, and happy family. The appetizer sampler was huge and everything was hot and tasty. Try the spicy wonton soup, it's to die for!
