Joy Food House Chinese Restaurant

I live just a few blocks away. Joy Food House provides generous portions at very reasonable prices, especially at lunch. Food is always available on time and the restaurant exhibits appreciation for their patrons.

General Tso chicken - spicy and sweet. With wonton soup. I am enjoying today. 😉

I'm here about 3 + times a month. I order for myself and my girlfriend. We eat a variety of foods and it's always outstanding! Friendly staff for as long as I remember ( 12 + yrs.) Get the menu, close your eyes and point to something. That " something " will knock you out ! Go and see! You'll love it!!

The delivery driver tried to force me to give him a tip after being almost two hours late and then when I didn't give him one he kept knocking on my door and acting like he wanted to fight! Mind you I am a 21 year old female and he is about 45 to 50 year old man! I like the food but I will never order from here just because of the delivery driver!

After moving to Union I decided to try a new food spot. The food is ok nothing to be wild about. But, what drew the line for me is I ordered something simple $20 in food. Waited an hour with no phone call or door bell ring so I called and was advised that my food left an hour ago. After telling them that I did not get anything they then said they put the food on the step and my son (who is a baby by the way) watched him put it on the step. No doorbell was rang no phone call made to me to advise that the food was delivered. Placed the food on the wrong step and then tried to make me look like I am crazy. Will NEVER spend another dollar there, and they tried to be rude on top of that as well. The food is not worth the money.
