Located at 19626 76th Ave W in Lynnwood, WA 98036, USA, Johnny's Wok Restaurant offers a Chinese dining experience that has garnered positive feedback primarily for its food quality and service. As a Chinese restaurant in the Lynnwood area, Johnny's Wok aims to provide delicious and expertly prepared dishes to its local customers. They can be contacted by phone at (425) 775-3313 or via mobile phone at +1 425-775-3313 for reservations, takeout orders, or inquiries about their menu and specials.
According to recent customer reviews, the standout feature of Johnny's Wok Restaurant is the exceptional quality of its food. One reviewer described their dining experience as "fantastic," specifically highlighting the "absolutely delicious" nature of every dish ordered, noting them as "flavorful, fresh, and expertly prepared." Among the dishes, the Shrimp in Garlic Sauce received particular praise, being described as "spicy, savory, and utterly addictive." This strong endorsement suggests that the kitchen at Johnny's Wok excels in creating well-executed and flavorful Chinese cuisine.
The service at Johnny's Wok also appears to be a significant positive aspect of the dining experience. The same reviewer who lauded the food described their server as "friendly and attentive," indicating a welcoming and efficient service staff that contributes to a pleasant meal. This suggests that customers can expect to be well taken care of during their visit.
However, one notable drawback mentioned in the reviews concerns the organization and ambiance of the dining area. One customer reported seeing "boxes of supplies stacked haphazardly throughout the dining area," which they felt detracted from the overall atmosphere. Specific examples included stacks of supplies, a vacuum cleaner near their table, and a cluttered office table in close proximity to diners. This suggests that the restaurant might need to address the tidiness and organization of its dining space to enhance the overall customer experience for those eating in.
Despite this concern about the dining environment, the reviewer still highly recommended Johnny's Wok for the quality of its food and service. Their intention to opt for takeout in the future highlights their strong appreciation for the cuisine, even if the dine-in ambiance was less than ideal. This indicates that the food itself is a major draw for customers.
Another reviewer provided practical advice for first-time visitors, noting that the restaurant is "quite hidden" in the back lot of a building that might appear to be a small business complex. They advised that it might be easy to miss the turn into the location. However, once found, the restaurant offers "plenty of parking spaces," which is a significant convenience for diners. This information is particularly helpful for local users who might be trying to find Johnny's Wok for the first time.
This same reviewer characterized Johnny's Wok as a "no BS Chinese restaurant," suggesting a straightforward and unpretentious approach to their food and service. They affirmed that the food is of "good quality," served "quick and hot," and offered at a "very reasonable" price, with "reasonable" portion sizes. This paints a picture of a reliable and value-oriented establishment that focuses on delivering satisfying meals efficiently.
Further details from this review reveal that Johnny's Wok offers appealing specials. For lunch, they have specials that include soup, an egg roll, a choice of white or fried rice, and one entree. This represents a comprehensive and affordable option for a midday meal. For dinner, they also offer a "per person combo" that includes soup and appetizers, although the reviewer recommended checking the updated menu for the exact details and pricing, as they had posted a current menu with their review. This indicates that Johnny's Wok provides value-driven meal options for both lunch and dinner.
Regarding specific dishes, this reviewer mentioned ordering the sizzling rice soup, triple fragrance, and General Tso chicken. They found all three to be good, with the General Tso chicken and the fried rice being standouts in their meal. This further supports the earlier feedback about the deliciousness of their offerings and suggests that certain dishes are particularly well-received. The reviewer expressed their intention to return to try other dishes, indicating a positive overall impression and a desire to explore more of the menu.
In summary, Johnny's Wok Restaurant in Lynnwood appears to be a local Chinese restaurant that excels in the quality and flavor of its food, with dishes like the Shrimp in Garlic Sauce and General Tso Chicken receiving high praise. The service is consistently described as friendly and attentive. A potential area for improvement is the organization and cleanliness of the dining area, which some customers have found to be cluttered. However, the restaurant offers convenient parking and reasonable prices, along with appealing lunch specials and dinner combos. Its slightly hidden location is worth noting for first-time visitors.
For local users in Lynnwood seeking a Chinese restaurant with delicious food and efficient service, Johnny's Wok seems to be a strong contender. While the ambiance of the dining area might not be the primary focus, the positive feedback on the food quality and value suggests a satisfying culinary experience, particularly if opting for takeout. The availability of lunch specials and dinner combos further enhances its appeal as a convenient and affordable option for Chinese cuisine in the area.

Customer Reviews
I recently dined at this Chinese restaurant and had a fantastic experience - with one notable exception. The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and expertly prepared. The standout was definitely the Shrimp in Garlic Sauce- spicy, savory, and utterly addictive. The service was also top-notch. Our server was friendly, and attentive. However, there was one aspect of our dining experience that left a sour taste - the dining area's organization. Unfortunately, the restaurant had boxes of supplies stacked haphazardly throughout the dining area, which detracted from the overall ambiance. It was a bit off-putting to see stacks of supplies, a vacuum cleaner next to our table, and a cluttered office table close by our dinner. Despite this minor complaint, I would highly recommend this Chinese restaurant for the quality of their food and service. Next time, I'll definitely opt for takeout to enjoy their delicious cuisine in the comfort of my own home - minus the cluttered dining area! 😊
Went here for lunch on a Monday. Place was not too busy, we were able to get a seat right away. So this place is quite hidden, it's in the back lot from an entrance to a small business looking building, so if it's your first time trying to look for this spot, you might miss the turn into it. Once you found it, then you'll know, and there's plenty of parking spaces here! This is your no BS Chinese restaurant. Food is good quality, they come quick and hot, price is very reasonable and portion size is also reasonable. They have lunch specials that include soup, egg roll, a choice of white or fried rice and one entree. For dinner they have a per person combo as well that includes the soup and appetizers as well I think. To double check, see the updated menu that I posted on this review. It's the most up to date menu and prices. We ordered the sizzling rice soup, triple fragrance, and general tso chicken. They were all good, the general tso is the standout on this meal and the fried rice. We'll come back and try some other dishes next time!
My partner and I stopped in randomly. We'd never heard of this place and have been living in Lynnwood since 2019. I got Mongolian beef and my partner got beef chow fun. We also shared a plate of wings. Everything was so delicious! Food came out piping hot. We're very excited to come back and glad that we have a Chinese place with good food nearby
We enjoyed lunch yesterday. Best Chinese food we have found in snohomish county. Can definitely tell it is homemade. Everything was delicious and I can't stress that enough. The staff were sweet. On top of everything. We will be going back it is worth the drive. We went for lunch and was able to get the dinner family style as some general tso lunch. Also for family dinner you each get to choose your entree so will Definitely be back.
We ate at Johnny’s Wok last night for my birthday. I love Chinese food that reminds me of my childhood. The food last night was wonderful. Almond Chicken, fried rice, potstickers, won ton soup, barbecued pork. Others had different main meals and they were all satisfied. Wonderful food friendly staff and great enjoyment. We will be back.
